When I feel like being a couch potato, I have 3 lb weights that I pick up and use for various arm exercises. My husband said I am wasting my time because this is not enough weight nor is it good muscle strengthen exercise. What do you all say? Am I wasting my time? :sad:

Mopping the floor or pushing your vacuum cleaner burns calories. List them on your exercise list. I found that a 140 lb person burns 223 calories each hour mopping floors or vacuuming. There are many web sites to give this info for any activity.
I can not get down and stay down. I have lost 8 to 10 lb, but keep going from 150 to 152 day after day. I eat 1200 calories a day and exercise 3 days a week.
