wow....I didn't think I would lose so much so fast. I set a goal of 1-2 lbs a week and I stay very close to my daily calorie goals....in fact, I go a little over sometimes. I'm not complaining though.

First Five Days
im five days into my weight loss and fitness journey and I've lost five pounds. When I arrived at work today I found a cake, cookies and an assortment of candy in the kitchen for Easter. I walked past all of it and made this 395 calorie mid-morning snack to get me fueled up for a trip to the gym in a while. I can do this!

I'm Back
i started using mfp a few years ago and once I met my weight goal, I became more lax about tracking things. Then I dropped off all together. I decided last night to get back to watching what I eat, tracking it and increasing my exercise levels to what they were when I was losing weight. Hope I can stick with it.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
First time post...I started doing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) in 2007 to lose weight. I started at 299lbs. and got down to 213 without any real nutrition plan other than to avoid junk food.
