What a difference a year makes
I was looking some pictures and couldn't help but notice the difference here. I had already lost 30+ or so pounds in the picture from last year, so the current picture only reflects the remaining 40> pounds I've lost since then. Plus I caught a bigger fish, which totally makes me look smaller, right?

NSV - Dirty Looks
Asking me if I've lost weight and then giving me a nasty look when I say yes only makes me STRONGER! Muhahahahahahahaha!

Overweight
As of today's weigh in, I am no longer obese.

Disasterous NSV
So, I'm a corporate trainer, but during the holidays I help out in the stores. Today I was working on some merchandise and at one point I bent over. When I stood back up I had a problem. My underpants didn't come with me. They had fallen completely off my rear end. Of course, I was still wearing pants (and a belt) so no…

46lbs Lost - Progress Pics
I was going to wait until I hit 50 lbs lost (my halfway point) to do this, but the scale is being stubborn and I think I could use an ego boost, so here goes. For reference: Height: 5' 3" 1st photo: is from October 2010. I have no idea what my weight was there and was pretty ticked at having my picture taken. Before…

Did you lose your insulation?
So, I'm wondering if this is a unique to me experience or if anyone else is going through this. I've always been the type to catch a chill I can't shake and go through a shiver fit and when I feel hot I'm already in the early stages of heat stroke. Since I've lost 45lbs of insulation it seems it takes just the slightest…

Having a Sense of Humor Helps - Share Your Story
So, I need a good laugh. Tell me something funny that's happened to you or you've said since you joined this website. I'll go first: Today I told a close friend that my bundt cake is now a muffin top.

NSV! New Clothes!
So, the facility I'm in this week is freezing. I decided to cruise the nearest store for a new cardigan so I could survive. When I went in, I had to go through Missy department to get to Women's and as usual, I saw a cute top I liked hanging on the wall. I know from experience, that I do not fit Missy sized tops, so I…

Restaurant/Travel/Hotel Tips and Tricks
I travel very often for work and I eat at restaurants/fast food places pretty often. I don't have to eat at these places, but I think it's important because of the nature of my job. I work with quite a few fast food restaurants and work in a training and development capacity. Acting as a customer is a great way to perform…

Suggestions for a fancy scale that does it all?
I'm looking for a bathroom scale that calculates the distance to mars and my BMI. Any suggestions? So far, with what little research I've done, most have an inaccurate BMI. Any tips? Suggestions? What do you have?

What's your favorite exercise?
So what's your favorite exercise? We went on vacation earlier in the month and were delighted to discover fishing is loaded into the website as a calorie burning exercise. It's amazing what 8 hours of fishing a day can do. It's totally an excuse to fish way more often...

Ensure Products
Does anyone drink/use Ensure products? I've always been fascinated with drinkable supplements, but too scaredy cat to try them. Any testimonials out there to make me braver or more suspicious?

First Big NSV
So, I'm down 30 lbs and am thinking about sharing some pictures later. In the meantime, there was a huge non-scale victory this morning. We have a tradition that one weekend day we just stay in bed, talk, and cuddle for a while before getting up. This morning my sweetie could get his arm completely around me for the first…

Hello :)
Hello there. :) Here's my story - Back in February I was very sick with pneumonia. When I initially went in to see a Dr and find out what was wrong, they weighed me, of course, and I was horrified. I was heavier than I've ever been and swore to make some changes then and there, which I did and have. Once I was back on my…
