Charity Runs
Did you know you can run a 5k, 10k, half, or full marathon for a charity? https://virtualstrides.com/faq/ offers a monthly charity, complete with racing bib and medal. Typical fees are $28. You don't even have to run/walk the entire distance at one time, you can break it into smaller chunks. Once you've completed the…

MFP Calories or FitBit?
I just want to clarify: I should eat by MFP calories, not what FitBit says I burned - correct? Do I then eat some of my exercise calories, or not, and how do I gauge that when I'm using the FitBit rather than entering exercise in MFP?

Clip for Fitbit Flex Tracker
So excited! It occurred to me look on Amazon for a clip to insert my Fitbit Flex tracker into because the band makes my wrist sweat in the summer heat. Success! I found a few different options and settled on this one:…

Can I have multiple Fitbits?
Is it possible to link more than one fitbit to MFP? Just got a Flex but would like a One or a Zip for in the summer...unless there's a clip that I can put my Flex tracker in?

Week 6
Talk to me about your Week 6 experience. The first quarter of every year is very busy and stressful in my job, and I handle the stress by working out. This year is no different, but beginning the end of last week I'm not emotionally/mentally handling it. My family would tell you I'm losing it. This morning, I realized that…

Just Want to Make Sure I Understand...
A couple of days ago I saw a comment on another thread about resetting your metabolism because it gets 'broken' after being on a low calorie diet for too long. The person recommended the original poster to join the MFP Eat More 2 Weigh Less group. So I was curious and came here and started reading. I'm not sure that I have…

NSV with Running
This is my first ever success story post and it has nothing at all to do with the scale. I have tried twice to become a runner, and both times I had knee issues (running the track at the Y really messed me up) or IT band issues (leg muscle). The second attempt I did C25K and made it to week 7 before my IT bands gave me…

Baked Pumpkin Pie Oatmeal
I came across this recipe on budgetbytes.blogspot.com. Here's the original recipe, I'll show my tweaks as well. 15 oz can pumpkin puree (not the pumpkin pie filling, the pure pumpkin) 1/2 cup brown sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice (I'm going to double this next time as I didn't think the spice flavor came through much)…

Cappacino recipes
I'm looking for cappacino recipes (mocha, vanilla, ...) - does anyone have a good one? Very rarely I can find a sugar-free International Coffee mix, but I'd like to make it myself. Thanks!
