What is happening to me??? Gaining and don't know why.
Age 39, female, 5'6", 127 lbs. Gained 10 lbs in the last three weeks without changing habits at all. Feel weak, sluggish, and sore. Weight gain is not water and not muscle...it's fat. Caloric intake is around 1200-1300 weekdays and 1100-1200 weekends. Desk job, work out 1 hr 5x a week. Had BMR professionally tested last…

RMR testing in Dallas?
There seem to be a lot of places that do this test; does anyone here have any experience with RMR testing in Dallas? Do you recommend one clinic over another? I've seen prices ranging from $85 to $200+ for what looks to be the same test; is this a situation where you get what you pay for, or are the results dependable and…

Keep gaining, this is driving me INSANE
I've posted about this before, but I bought a HRM with a chest strap so I could get a more accurate picture of my daily burn than an internet calculator's estimate. OK, so people on here have accused me of underestimating my caloric intake. I measure and record everything, so I've been double and triple checking figures…

Now, say like I burn 300 calories…

How to record barbell complexes?
How do you record this exercise on MFP? I would do the circuit 7 times per set without stopping, for 5 sets with minimal rest in between sets (maybe 30 seconds). http://www.muscleandstrength.com/workouts/the-bear-barbell-complex.html

I've gained 25 lbs while in a caloric deficit...what gives?
I used to not believe there was such a thing as 'starvation mode' but now I'm questioning that. I was underweight and probably lapping at the edges of ED a year and a half ago; I was weighing in at a whopping 100 lbs. I'm 5'6" and am now 37 years old. I was working out 5 days a week and eating maybe 1300-1400 calories a…
