How was your FIRST week of Insanity?
I'm thinking of starting Insanity next week. But I'm totally scared the workout will kill me! Haha I've talked to some people, who said they hated the whole work out, but the results are amazing, so they continued to do it. If you've done Insanity, how was your first week? How many times did you think you were going to…

Advice for starting gym classes
I had to go to a physiotherapist recently and she told me because I have a gym membership I should look into taking up pilates and yoga to help my lower back muscles. And because I'll be doing these I thought I might as well take up some other classes, such as zumba, kickboxing and such. Now I know my gym has these…

when should i start hitting the weights?
I'm restarting my weight loss after about 2 years of gaining and losing the same 20lbs. I currently weigh 180lbs. I've joined a gym with my boyfriend and I've only been doing cardio, no strength or weights involved. I know that weights and strength training helps build muscle and muscle helps burn fat, but how early on…

30DS, but not every day?
I want to take up the 30DS again, I did it about 3 months ago and it lost me lots of inches! Currently I have a week off College, so I'll be able to do the 30DS everyday. But when I start College again I'll only be home for 2 days a week. Do you think it's possible to only do the 30DS for 2 days a week and still see the…

10 minute mile
Today I jogged for the first time!! The road I live on is exactly one mile from where I live to the end (I google mapped it and it says it was a mile) So today on my way home I decided to jog it. I timed it and when I reached my house I stopped the stop watch and it recorded 10 minutes 16 seconds. Is that fast??? I didn't…

Going over on vitamins?
I take a multi-vitamin with iron tablet everyday, because I'm vegetarian and sometimes find it hard to take in all my nutrients, especially iron! But yesterday I see that I had 250% GDA of Vitamin C! I also had 130% of Vitamin A. Is that bad for me?

Should I change this?
I've been using the 'sedentary' lifestyle, because I've been out of College and all Summer I've just lazed around. I start College again this upcoming Monday, I haven't had my schedule yet, but I expect to be in 3-4 days a week. And a lot of it involved walking around to two different campus' that are far away from each…

What do you count as 'binging'?
I'm just curious about what you class as 'binge eating'; An extra slice of cake after dinner? Going over your calories by a certain amount? Having a whole pizza to yourself rather than half? Where do you think eating a little bit more becomes binge eating?

Fruit sugar?
Does the sugar in fruit count as 'bad' sugar? Because I've just eaten a few cherries and 1/16th of watermelon and it put me over my sugar limit. But I'm just thinking, they're natural sugars, not refined. So is too much fruit bad for you because of the sugar? Or is it alright?

Are carbs really important?
I've come to notice since joining this site that a lot people restrict carbs a lot. In my house (I live with my parents) we have tons of stuff that it 'high in carbs' ; bread, pasta, potatoes, spaghetti, ect. And it's extremely hard for me to go about my day without having one of those. My diary is open, if anyone cares to…
