10 minute mile

Today I jogged for the first time!!
The road I live on is exactly one mile from where I live to the end (I google mapped it and it says it was a mile)
So today on my way home I decided to jog it.

I timed it and when I reached my house I stopped the stop watch and it recorded 10 minutes 16 seconds.

Is that fast???
I didn't even feel tired at the end of it, although I was a bit sweaty haha. I think I could push myself to probably do it in 9 minutes if I ever do it again!

For a first jog that is great! Keep up the good work!
  • That's great! Most people can't run a 10 minute mile, especially their first time out.

There shouldn't be any "If I do this again>>>" but do it again. That is a great run for the first time.

That;s a pretty fair marathon pace. Now you just have to keep it up another 25 miles!

Whenever I think about jogging I really hate the thought of it! But I just wanted to get home quicker so I thought I'd give jogging a try.
I felt great after it! So I might actually do it again tomorrow!
