Garmin Forerunner 35 vs. 235
I am officially fed up with my Fitbit Surge. When it works and syncs to the app, it's a great watch. However, that just never happens anymore. I'm ready to get something new and I've heard good things about both the FR 35 and 235, but I'm not sure if I need to spend what the 235 costs. I use my fitness watch mainly for…

Premiere Protein - Does it jack with your stomach?
I couldn't get half of my Premiere Protein shake down this morning before I started getting some severe stomach cramping. I'm assuming it was the protein shake, as nothing else was different this morning. Anyone else have issues with Premiere Protein, or was the stomach issues just a complete fluke?!

Advocare and the 24 Day Challenge - Did it help? Is it worth it?
And please, no comments from distributors, as your opinion may be a bit biased! For those of you who use/have used Advocare products and/or have participated in the 24 Day Challenge, what is your honest opinion? After a week of tracking diligently and working out every day (higher intensity workouts), not only have I not lost a single pound, but I gained a couple (yay me)! I really like my Garmin GPS watch, but I'm wondering if the HRM component is as good with tracking calories burned as the Polar watch. Anyone have experience with both watches…

Hello MFPers! I'm four months postpartum and breastfeeding. I've read from several sources (and my lactation consultant) that an extra 300-500 calories is needed to maintain your milk supply. I'm starting back on the MFP bandwagon and my plan is to add in 350 extra calories to the 1540 suggested calories to lose one pound…

Physical Exercise While Trying to Conceive
What is the consensus on how much/how hard one should exercise while trying to conceive? I enjoy HIIT, spin classes, running, 30DS and I just purchased the Insanity DVD. Obviously, I do not want to jeopardize my chances of conceiving or, once I HAVE conceived, risking the chance of miscarrying due to over-exertion. I guess…

Headaches and feeling lightheaded...culprit?
I've been dutifully following MFP and have noticed I've been having lingering headaches and at times, feel a bit lightheaded. I am drinking the recommended eight glasses of water a day and the only caffeine I drink is in the morning (one cup of coffee), which I am still doing. I eat balanced meals, including protein, carbs…
