Pretty comfortable at 1/2 marathon distance overall. Starting a 16 week marathon training schedule beginning of Feb. Feeling a bit intimedated by the 42.2km. Who is tackling their 1st marathon in 2013??
Going to be visiting New Orleans in October. Looking to rent a car for a couple days and drive around Mississippi and Alabama. Any suggestions on places to check out? Would like to spend the night in a city/town with a decent night/pub life. Any input appreciated.
Been working out for the last 20 months and taking a week long break starting next Monday. Any of you take scheduled breaks from the gym/exercise? Took a week long break three months ago and still managed to lose six pounds during that week. I felt great and recharged. Any thoughts about breaks? Good for your body/mind?
I pretty much refuse to exclude it from my life! Hot air popped popcorn and 3 teaspoons of butter!!!! Always stay within in my daily caloric allotment. Who else loves popcorn!!???!!
I've has chaffed nipples from running before but today was the first time the have full on bled. Not a pleasant experience, they still hurt. What do you guys use? Any horror stories? I've been bumping up my distance so I suppose it's time to start stocking up on band aids.
