I'm going to be doing some eating on this trip for sure!!! I've accepted the fact I may gain ten pounds on vacation and I'm totally col with that. I work hard maintaining my body so I don't feel bad let 'er rip once in a while. Thanks for the tip!!

Heading to NOLA for a week long holiday this October. Gonna eat pretty much whatever I want. Even if I gain 10 pounds I know I can knock it off in no time. I lost 6 pounds on vacation last year. I ate pretty much what I wanted but walked hours and hours a day.

I take a complete week off from exercise every 3 months for sure. It does my body and more importantly my mind a world of good. No sense risking fitness burnout if you want to sustain good living for the rest of your life. It was definately a mental struggle the first time around but now I look forward to it.

I lost about 180 over 18ish months. Wasn't easy, but also wasn't hard once got over that first 3 month sock to the system. Set out a plan and buy into it with everything you got. Focus and determaination needs to be sharp as hell. Once the ball gets rolling momentum will be your greatest allie! Some random thoughts/methods…

Next chipped 10k is in 8 days. I'm hoping to hit 52 minutes. I can do a easy paced 10 in about 58 min regularly so I will turn it up a bit and hopefully hit my goal.

I am working towards a Half myself. I am at a pretty comfortable 15k. Did you find that next 6k a real stretch? I'm not using any kind of a training program.

7 day break was amazing. Body feels great and I am good to go again. My food was on point and I was still able to loss 3 pounds during that time! Hurrahhhhh for breaks!!!

6 days into my break and I am just itching to get back at. Last couple days I've been day dreaming about what run I want to do when the break is over. haha Tomorrow is supposed to be the last break day. Don't think so I see either a 13k run or 45 minutes of nasty hill sprints.
