FitBit and calories question - BMR, TDEE, etc.
I just started using my fitbit yesterday, and have a question about the calories burned. I currently have MFP set for 1320 (which is what the calculator on here estimated as my BMR). FitBit says that my burn yesterday was this number + 149 (not exercising, just hanging out), and it added the 149 to my MFP log as exercise…

Scale not for use with IUD??

I see people talking about their FitBit and how much they like it, but I am not sure that I understand exactly what it does. Is it a heart rate monitor? A pedometer? What is it useful for? Is it worth the money? And, lastly, is the newer model better than the older?
