What went in your smoothie today?

I got a Vitamix for my birthday and am trying to get a lot of use out of it. Also, I eat more fruits and veggies when I do smoothies, so I am always looking for new combinations. What went in your smoothie today?

Last night, mine was:
1 cup frozen cherries
1/2 cup low fat chocolate milk
1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 tbs chia seeds

It was really a dessert smoothie. ;) In fact, I think I could freeze it and eat it as ice cream.

    1 cup Greek Yogurt
    2 scoops Chocolate Protein Powder
    1 cup Apple Juice
    1 large Banana

    makes 2 20oz smoothies. I usually add only add 1 cup of fruit and 2 cups of spinach to my breakfast smoothies but didn't have any spinach!!!

    I like to mix instant coffee with chocolate protein powder and almond milk.
    Super healthy mocha!!

    My favorite smoothie is just frozen banana chunks. Maybe a tiny bit of water or milk to help it get started blending.
    It has the texture of soft serve ice cream. :'D
    Great to mix with cinnamon, or cocoa powder, or peanut butter, or any fruit~

    Benefit of having a vitamix is making lowish calorie ice cream:
    don't include any water/ice in the smoothie ingredients,
    blend in vitamix
    pour into ice cube tray
    freeze
    put back in vitamix
    blend
    scoop with ice cream scoop to get it to look like ice cream
    eat.

    A Vitamix! Wow, I'm jealous. My smoothie this morning was ice, water, 2 bananas, 1 apple and some soy protein powder.

    My smoothie last night was ice, water, 2 bananas, 1 kiwi, 5 strawberries and 4 cups of chopped kale.

    Those of you who use water - and/or ice - doesn't the smoothie get, well, watery? I like mine thick! And I have never tried adding vegetables yet.

    Today I had half of this:

    60 g Turkish yoghurt
    130 g milk
    8 g cocoa powder
    1 medium banana
    30 g natural peanut butter

    I'm in heaven :love:

    My 2 fav's are:

    1 c unsweetened vanilla almond milk
    1/2 frozen banana
    1/3 cup frozen pineapple
    1/2 scoop strawberry protein powder
    1 tsp chai seeds
    handful spinach

    or

    1 c unsweetened vanilla almond milk
    2 tbsp. PB2
    1/2 scoop choc protein powder
    1/2 frozen banana

    Both are like yummy shakes and both are under 250 cals. I don't like yogurt in my smoothies, but the almond milk gives it a creamy texture with hardly any cals.

    I got my Blendtec yesterday!

    My first smoothie was...

    Ton of spinach
    Frozen berries
    Water
    2 Scoops of protein powder


    Lesson learned on the protein powder. One scoop next time. Optimum Nutrition Whey has a horrible smell to me and it permeated the smoothie.

    I get a veggie smoothie at Jamba Juice now and then. The last one I had use fresh Kale, banana and pineapple. I was a bit doubtful at first, but it was delicious.

    Earthbound Farm Power Greens
    Organic Apple Juice (50/50 with water)
    Broccoli
    Frozen (fresh) cut up pineapple
    A small banana
    1 serving of Chia seeds
    1 serving hemp protein powder...

    it is AWESOME. I just started making my green smoothies, and I have been missing out.
