Addicted to sugar??
It's only 11am and I've already exceeded my recommended sugar-limit for the day! Between the sugar in my skim milk and the sugar/creamer I put in my coffee, it all added up quickly. I do have a sweet-tooth and enjoy sweet treats. But, I'm quickly realizing that there are sugars in foods I never would have considered before…

Had a great week and up a pound :(
So, I've only been at this for 3 weeks and had lost 5 lbs so far. I weigh in every Friday but sometimes I check-in throughout the week....just to see where I am. Yesterday, I was down a pound from last Friday, but this morning for my "official weigh-in" I am UP a pound :( So, that's what I tracked...I am now down to 4 lbs…

No wonder I wasn't losing weight!
Have you ever plugged in the foods you USED to eat to see how many calories you were consuming before joining MFP? I just did and man, no wonder I wasn't losing weight! It's scary how when you don't portion-control, the calories add up super quickly. I'm so thankful for this program! Just had to share :)

I need help with my "all or nothing" mind-set!
So, I tend to have an "all-or-nothing" mentality...especially when it comes to food. Like, if go over my daily calorie limit by a little bit, I just think to myself, "well, I might as well just go all out now!" and then eat a ton more calories. Or, even if I'm still under my calorie limit and I make a bad choice to eat…

Nursing mom who still feels hungry!
So, I am currently nursing my 12 week old daughter. When I signed up on MFP, I didn't see an option for increasing calorie intake because I'm nursing. Should I be adding on some extra calories to my daily limit? If so, how much? I'm guessing if I do add calories it would only be a few hundred more, but maybe that will help…
