I agree, "flexing" your calories (never heard of it called that before) is not what you need to do. You need to stay in a consistent calorie deficit.1 -

Wow, talk about changing subjects on a thread. I naturally do intermittent fasting as it works for my schedule. It also lets me eat a large, satisfying supper.2 -

Of course you should. Why wouldn't you? Getting discouraged will just make you quit, then you won't lose the weight. Slow weight loss is best.1
