4 mile walk. First one with my new Fitbit Charger HR. Made the upgrade from the Flex. So many more numbers to play with! Apparently my walk outside has me going uphill the equivalent of nine flights of stairs. I don't feel like such a slacker anymore My HR got out of fat burning mode and into cardio mode at 4 mph - I'll have to play with that. It shows I burn more calories than both Runkeeper and MFP give me, but I'm not using that as an excuse to eat them. Fun new toy. I'll be curious to see my HR all over the place at work tonight and being in charge of annoying coworkers.

Yesterday's drive to work was so strange...no fog at my house but I got three blocks away and it was the worst it's been in two weeks! Couldn't even see the edge of the road! And me, you know...Ms Lead-foot...driving 8 mph through it, was pretty funny!!! Egad!! Spooky!

You know why this update made me happy? Because a whole lot of people just went green! Woohoo!
As for me, had to cut my training run a bit short. **Only** did 5.5 miles with intervals. This new program is hard, but not too hard, I'm happy to say.0 -

What a beautiful day to go cycling. Haven't seen the 'fair weather' cyclists, yet. But I am bound to run into them one of these days. Anyway, I just love bonus miles, especially when due to weather issues, my arthritis is giving me h&^L. Like I said previously, this winter has been way harder on my body than last winter.
01/22 - 1.0 miles walking
01/23 - 2.0 miles walking
01/24 - 13.0 miles cycling
Total: 170.0 miles

Today!! Thank you! And look at you...Bonus miles already! Nice going! (*)
I got to walk with my DH and grandpuppy this morning then went off by myself for some serious miles. Walking with the guys is more playtime and great fun.
The sun finally burned through the fog and the afternoon was brilliant blue and in the mid-60s.
Sat - 11.61 miles
Bonus miles comin' up!!
Hope everyone has a grand Sunday!

And the craziness at work begins..... I still try to get some walking in to burn off some of the frustrations (yet another side effect of endorphins, I can stay calmer at work)
