How do you like Walk off Fat Fast? I'm on the fence about getting it. I do like the 10 minutes Blasters a lot. TIA.

How do you know if you are eating enough calories?

Hi mamavickers. Welcome to the group.

To make sure you are eating enough, go to word Goals (under My Home on you home page) scroll down and click on change goals. Make sure that "Guided" is checked-this allows MFP to set up your calorie needs based on things like age and current weight and how many pounds you want to lose each week. It will step you through everything. And you can change it if you are not getting the results you want, but starting out with MFP's set up is best in the beginning.

Regarding replying to a certain post; hit the blue word Quote on the post you want to respond to and it will copy and paste that persons post and then you can just start replying undernearth. :)

    Hope this helps.

    Thank You!!!!

Hi Ann-Well, I like it, but I am so used to the miles metric that the minutes are not a favorite yet. If you like the minutes, you will like it as it is intense. I also have the Blasters and have not tried them yet. I'll try the Blasters tomorrow and let you know if they are basically the same as the Walk off Fat Fast so you do not waste money buying two that are the same. On another note, no update on the forums on iPhone yet. :noway: Brenda

Hi Ann-OK as you can see I did the 40 minute Walk Off Fat Fast (WOFF) and the 30 minute Premixed Advanced Walk on the Walk Blasters (WB) DVD and honestly, they are basically the same. She has added squats in the 40 minute WOFF and the skater in the side steps and the step tap move in both. The idea of the WOFF series of walks is that you do not have to be exhausted to burn fat, but do a nice steady challenging walk and that is her message in most of her work. I was given both of them as gifts for Christmas, but if I were going to buy them, I would buy the WB because you can make a 20, 30 or 40 + minute walk of your choosing. It is kind of like the Ultimate 5 Day Walk. Hope this helps! Brenda

Okay, so I have been a real slacker. I have had issues with my achilles and then my back and I am fed up with being fat! I am finally getting back into the swing of things and need to step things up, literally. Although not a lofty goal, I am committing to 20 miles by the end of the month. I think I have about every walking DVD of Leslie's so there is no excuse. I am going to need a good butt kicking and encouragement. I became a Grandma in October and I want to be healthy for my family. Thanks peeps!!!

You are going to be a grandma!!!! There is nothing better.

There are days I just do not want to walk and these challenges keep me going. On the days I just do not want to do it....I tell myself to just do 1 mile and every time I decide to go on. Once the heart gets pumping I do not want to quit. Give yourself 15 minutes (1 mile) and I bet you will not regret it. I always feel better once I get started. I hope this helps.

finally have a day off so instead of spending it cleaning the house, I decided to spend it on me. So I did all 3 of the walk of the fat sessions and the walk it off in 30 days session, 120 minutes of walking, felt great! I am really enjoying the faster motions in some of the newer dvds I bought. The workouts go faster and a little more intense. I was shocked to see an 80 year old woman in the walk it off fast 20 minute walk! She looked great! Just goes to show you exercise has no boundries! So nice to see everyone walking and a lot already making their goes! great job everyone!!!!

Thanks for the info, Brenda. Sounds like I will be sticking with the WB. It's good to be able to add such different type workouts into one 30 or 40 minute session. Walk Strong, my Friend!

I am sorry that I have not been here much of this month. My brother was in a bad accident earlier this month. He was the pedestrian in a hit and run accident. He suffered multiple fractures and was in the ICU and then the acute care unit, and he is now in a rehabilitation hospital for physical therapy. It is going to be a long haul for him.

After everything that has gone on with my brother these past weeks and then catching up with reading all of your awesome posts tonight reminded me of how blessed we are to be able to walk. My brother will not be able to walk for a couple of months still. My brother does not drive so walking and the bus are his means of transportation.

Ann, thank you so much for responding with many welcoming posts to our new walkers this month, as well as cheering on all our current walkers throughout the month with many encouraging posts. I so appreciate all that you did!! I loved reading all your comments to our group <3

I also want to say how proud I am of all our walkers who didn't miss a step and kept on walking the miles and minutes. I enjoyed very much reading all your posts. You all make this a most awesome group to belong to.

One more day to go in January :noway: .... is it even possible that this month is almost over??

Oh my gosh Mary, I am so sorry to hear about your brother! How dreadful to have something like that happen and the driver not even stop to lend assistance! It never ceases to amaze me how uncaring of their fellow man some people can be. I am so glad to hear that he is out of ICU and on the mend. I hope for his sake he can make a full recovery although multiple fractures can be hard to make a complete recovery from as there is often some stiffness left over.

Take care of yourself as you have no doubt been under tremendous stress this month and need some down time. My thoughts are with you and your brother during his recovery. Brenda
