Another Jump Rope for Heart event over after one snow day cancellation. Five hours of non stop jumping rope and kids sweating their heads off. We broke a new fundraising record. Final total not in but we are over $21,000.00. Note to me: Jumping rope for a long time is no longer good for my knee now that a chunk of it is gone...lol. Did manage to do some stationary biking and hopefully our high 30's due here tomorrow will allow me to get a good outdoor run in.
March 6: 15 Miles - 5 walking and jumping and 10 cycling

Felt some better today and went for a little longer, little faster walk. The sun and 40F felt great and couldn't help myself from breaking into 3 or 4 really slow trots on a couple of the flat-to-slightly-downhill sections. Pushing my luck a little but I think I'll be okay. I didn't ever do it long or fast enough to breathe too hard. Felt great.

Did my first group club ride today. What a beautiful sunny warm day for it. Cold to start out, but nice warm finish. Definitely going to do it again. Nice way to end the calendar week
