And most of all I'm tired of effin' around with MFP's judgy red numbers and quips about saturated fat and lying to me about what I'm going to weigh in 5 weeks.
Bahahaha! I hear you baconslave! One day I'm going to put in some rediculous thing and I want to see if mfp tells me --If you continue like this you're going to be DEAD in 5 weeks.-- I should find a script that takes THAT part off. Bogus.0 -

I'm terrified of not knowing my calories but I think it's worth a shot. I don't want to be weighing and measuring my food all my life. I just have to trust the science in this one.0 -
Oh. I forgot my carbs. Trying to keep below 20 net carbs.0

I didn't say what my carbs are. I'll try to keep the total below 50. I've been averaging about 75, though its more like 35-40 net.
Edited to say today was a fail, lol, due to an issue with an avocado yesterday which caused me to eat flax meal cereal for breakfast. Back on the wagon, though.0 -

Height: 5'6"

Staying under 20g of carbs works well for me. I am an analyst with a very sedentary job (12 hrs of sitting - yikes!), so I try to incorporate a bit of running at the gym (1.5-2 miles) every other day-ish.0 -

Tomorrow, or tonight, post your initial information here.
Weight (or 0.0)
How many carbs you're looking to stay under.
Anything else you want to include.
Goodness, it is taking me forever to get caught up!!!
Weight on 4/2: 247.6 pounds (112.55 kg) - was 247.6 (this includes 6 pounds straight water gain from my long working weekend)
Carbs: 25 grams total (Net if eating veg), but flexible
Calories: Not counting. Not even tracking for the time being. Just monitoring for carb counts.
Bragged about this WOE at the Faire I worked, and a nurse I met working with us (now fast friends!) did a ton of research and decided this WOE would help her and her hubby! They started 4/1, and are having good progress, so I'm super excited.
I have a check in at the end of the month with my endo, so I'm looking forward to the updated bloodwork, and I think I was almost 260 at my last appointment, so I'm hoping to have some noticeable weight loss too. Excited!
