Howdy all y'all. It's sumptuous Sunday! 10/50 with an expected high of 21/69 and 50% chance of precipitation.

Last day of the orchid show and I am not required or volunteered for anything today, though J is so I might go in with him, but his presentation's scheduled time conflicts with the time during which I'd like to nap.
    Hi Ed
We hit 100% precipitation Sunday, It was done by 11AM Although things were slow drying off from it.

In my humble opinion a nap is a good thing, I might be influenced in that opinion by the fact that my Grandparents took a nap every afternoon and lived a long life which could have been influenced by the daily nap.
    Kids Try Dim Sum
I have had authentic Dim Sum in the San Francisco Chinatown area when on Vacation where my Aunt who lived in California for years picked the eatery. I did not eat some of the things from the selection they brought around to the table on the various trolleys, No Seafood for me, Chicken Feet, Nope, no way.
My Big Fat Greek Baked Beans - Food Wishes
Looks tasty and unlike my brother I do eat Feta or Blue Cheese.
The Netflix Cooking Show You'll Wish You Knew About Sooner
Since I dumped Netflix last year due to not using it I'll never know how the show is.
ULTIMATE CHEF VS CHEF JAPANESE FUSION BATTLE
I will admit that as a food purist I am not a fan of fusion foods nor the way so many So Called Chefs feel that they need to tinker with and change traditional dishes.
Put ¼ Pineapple On A Plate. After A Few Seconds, You Won't Believe Your Eyes!
That Pineapple looks a little green, Add in that I am not a fan of smoothies and I think I will pass on trying those recipes
Many orchids grow naturally on trees or even rocks. Growers often try to duplicate the natural growing environment as closely as possible. Here is a short video showing how one man does that.
I wondered about that, I had thought I remembered seeing them in trees on the TV.

    Thank You for the Videos

Happy Daylight Savings Day??? (not exactly)
More on that later...no, I think we are all 3 in agreement that its a sham, waste of time, outdated, etc etc..
The reason for this quick post...

    mialjcpncndd.jpg

They're coming Roger! Won't be long...I swiped this from one of my email health mailing lists, because I instantly thought of you, coming home from your walk and picking a handful of berries on your way to the door!!!

Which makes me remember I have blueberries, and I have not had breakfast....

    Later...
    Hello Valerie
I was left tired yesterday which I blame on the switch to Daylight Savings time robbing some of my sleep from me. I am still tired today and have two more clocks to set the new time on, one I need a stool or ladder to reach in the Kitchen where it is over the door to the Dining Room

I saw a news report that California wants to switch to it year around, however they need Federal approval to do it ?

I am waiting and I am hoping to beat the Squirrels to at least some of the two types of berries.

    Have a Nice Day
    Roger

BTW I do not know if this sort of thing is interesting to either of You ?

Today is Orion's cat mitzvah! OK. Today is his birthday and he is officially a one year old CAT and no longer a kitten. He doesn't look terribly excited about it.

He does still have a few more days worth of kitten food to finish up.

The last place I worked held the Christmas Party at Japanese Korean eateries so You could have either. The owner preferred Korean. Some of the Korean was tasty such as the thin marinated beef strips cooked on a Charcoal grill that they topped up with fresh charcoal as needed. I will say that the Korean food tended to run right through me and I suspect it was a ingredient as that happened at all of the various places the party was held.

The Boiled Cake was a new one to me.

Howdy all y'all. It's wonderful Wednesday!

Nothing critical on the agenda for today. Just rest a bit perhaps. My bad knee (OK, neither one is really all that GOOD, but the right one has the old injury that flares up now and then) has been unhappy for a few days, and I am still getting over some small cold or something. And my left bicep is sore because I got shot yesterday, at the doctor's office, with a TDAP booster.

    Ok, quick Good Morning!
Heading out for ATL in less than 10 minutes! Chiro, Whole Foods, then back out to Duluth and the Honda guys...I want a new 'trunk' thingy, and I want my Philly Flyers vanity plate mounted, and I'll let them do that too. See how nice I am???
Got everything straightened out with State Farm...and the EMT's. It wasn't as hard to do as I thought it might be. I was concerned for my Credit Rating, and also that some of the bills were not paid by State Farm. Was told it was all good.
Tom's out for the day. Sadly its overcast, but not going to rain. He had a great time yesterday, but it was sunny..can you say Cat Nap in the sun???
I don't think my new neighbors dogs will bother the cat. I'm guessing they are indoor furries, other wise he wouldn't be walking them!?!?!?

    Hello Ed
I would not say I have bad knees neither would I brag about having good knees. Good Knees do not make cracking sounds when You get up from the chair  Part of that could be from the cartilage surgery when back in the 90s I suppose OTOH only one knee was done and they both give off audible cracking noises.

That is one of the reasons I hate shots in the arm, it seems to be sore for several days afterwards :(

    Hi
I'm back home from walking and no money was found. The Temperature out the door was 42 degrees. That made me happy as I could shed one layer while walking, that layer was a moderately heavy Sweatshirt. OTOH I was out with my brother doing some running around and I spied 3 corroded Pennies So I did find three cents yesterday late in the moring.

Before I forget Yesterday as I was sitting in the Living room eating my pre walk NS snack so as not to be putting coffee into a empty stomach I saw movement out of the corner of my eye and sure enough there was a Walking Appetite AKA Deer crossing the lawn. Then today on my way to pick up todays part Decaf and part regular coffee I had four of them crossing lawns ahead of me.
