Howdy all y'all. It's thrilling Thursday! Looks like another pretty nice day, though with a small chance of precipitation.
I need to get some laundry folded and put away.

I was able to have my brother wash my most needed laundry, I may do a load Sunday, maybe not, I tend to do the laundry based on impulse. My reflective safety vest needed washing as some unknown person had managed to spill coffee on it It was much brighter afterwards, I can only guess that it had become dingy slow enough that I had not noticed it.3 INCREDIBLE VEGAN BURGER RECIPESCarla Makes Butter-Basted Steak“DESSERT” Recipe Relay ChallengeIrish People Try American Worms

Hi
I'm back home from walking and no money was found. The Temperature out the door was showing 45 degrees. The Rain yesterday was off and on, more on than off. This morning it was wet outside and as I was walking a fine mist started blowing on the breeze, That mist slowly became heavier as I walked and the breeze caused a bit of a wind chill

Hi
I'm back home from walking and no money was found. The Temperature out the door was showing 35 degrees. The Rain yesterday ended in the afternoon and the winds picked up as the cold front moved in. This morning while walking there was a stiff breeze with high wind gusts causing a wind chill that was tolerable, barely having heard the wind gusts throughout the night I added a light long sleeve under the sweatshirt and hoodie.

Hello Valerie0 -
Howdy all y'all. It's sumptuous Sunday! Looks to be another nice day here. I have not quite managed a totally agenda-less weekend, as I had to buy cat food yesterday. Orion has moved to adult food but so far just a chicken flavored soft pâté that is very similar to the canned kitten food he was eating before. I got more of that, in the chicken AND in turkey flavor (trying to gradually broaden his horizons), more of the "cuts in gravy" variety (three flavors) for Kiara and Dinah, and a few cans of Lilo's geriatric food.
Last night's dinner was a huge salad with home made Thousand Islands type dressing. The salad had boiled eggs and American cheese strips for protein.

Good Morning from Atlanta!
I had a fun time with my family, (missing only my oldest and the grands). Sorry it had to end...glad to have a fast internet speed again. The wifi was as slow as I remember dial up to be after the first day or two. We all gave up on it! But, we all had iPads or equivalent, and smart phones so it wasn't bad enough to go looking around the island for a better connection.
Came home to wonderful weather yesterday...today is partly cloudy..and maybe some rain later.
I made it tury a whole week without a trip to the Island Fudge Shop/Shoppe???. Though there were things that did come into the condo, and were tasted or eaten. But, by in large, I didn't stray toooo far.
Roger, more and more, both here in Atlanta and in other places...certainly on HHI its pretty easy to find veg food right along with mainstream entree's. I had a great blackened tofu sandwich, a buddha bowl with quinoa and brown rice and about 6 toppings...etc. In other words I ate well. I did step on the scale today, but didn't let it scare me. Most of that is water from eating salty foods, lack of exercise, and the 5.5 hour drive home. So, all in all I expect to see a more 'normal' reading on Wednesday.
I see Roger was walking in weather way too cold for my tastes, and liking it!!
Ed, your St. Paddy's day dinner was way better than mine. We were late going, and the 'traditional type foods' were gone! So no boiled potatoes and cabbage and no Irish Soda Bread...all of your dinner looked delicious! Next Year!!!! (or maybe later this year even! since I don't need the corned beef, its easy to do anytime)
Poor cat is totally confused. Happy to see me, not sure where he was supposed to eat...I put his food indoors, he kept going back to look on the back porch...put food on the porch, and he was inside looking for it....do cats get dementia??? Unless it rains, he's out for the day... Not sure, but I think he prefers that.
Need to hit the gym, stop into the Mex Market for banana's, a bit of their bread- I don't know the names of all the different shaped breads, but Ted and I got 'into' eating it while he was here. tsk, tsk, tsk!
I also need some blueberries, either fresh or frozen, and apples and other fruits, and some broccoli, carrots, and such. I intend to make a pot of rice, and one of quinoa. With some beans or some form of tofu, I can have many dinners in nearly no time at all for the week! (I like that)
I was right along with Emmy and Grandma's toast sandwich til she hit the sugar??? and the ketchup?? not being a fan of catsup (notice I used both spellings in one long sentence!) I'm not sure I 'd like that at all....
BUT..the cabbage pancake looked really good...I'd of course use a fake egg or no egg at all.
And, the prison loaf didn't look that bad either...not every meal, or many days, but lack of salt would not be a big issue as I use very little salt.
Ok, I need to do a whole long list of 'stuff' today...and I need to get going.
Later...0 -

Hi
I'm back home from walking two pennies were found as I walked across a parking lot. The Temperature out the door was showing 53 degrees and at 5:13 AM a time and temperature was showing 53 degrees also. It was nice walking outside for walking, I was somewhat overdressed in the hoodie and ended up with it unzipped to let some cooler air in.

Welcome Home.
Dial up speeds, I remember those. it was OK back then since Webpages were mostly text and not loaded with lots of large graphics.
I expect to see Vegetarian foods all over and to a lesser extent vegan, I just do not expect to see it as street food.

Your cat sounds confused. I guess inside is better since that way it won't attract any critters. Good Question, The answer is I do not know, Maybe ?

That dish did not need Ketchup, and if You had not mentioned it I likley would have missed that You used both spellings.
The prison Loaf recipe looked like You could adapt it to Your needs easily, Just drop the meat which there was not that much anyway.

Howdy all y'all. It's marvelous Monday! Temperatures are supposed to be nice but we are expecting thunder and rain after noon. I need to get out to Kroger or at least Ingle's before that happens if I can. I am low on paper towels and my preferred brand is made by Kroger. On the other hand, not yet critically low and Ingle's is likely to have a better price on some other items I need, assuming they have enough in stock, which is sometimes an issue at any grocery.

I made it out and back well before the rain! I left a bit after 9:00 and got back home at 10:15. All is unloaded and put away, and traffic between home and Kroger was not a problem at all.
My bonus for this trip was finding four lamb shanks in the "used meat" rack along with a pound of 80/20 ground chuck. All of those are now resting up from their travels, in the freezers.
