Howdy all y'all. It's magnificent Monday! Quite chilly out there but not quite freezing. No chance of precipitation, and supposed to stay a bit on the cool side, with a high of only 15C/58F. I may get out for the few items that I couldn't get at Aldi or Target yesterday (because they don't carry them) but nothing has reached critical just yet.
I ran across a sponsored link that was trying to sell something so I closed it as soon as I saw that. The link claimed that Metformin was dangerous, I suspect that Ed has something to say about that.
A sponsored link claiming Metformin is dangerous isn't going to tell me anything I don't already know and isn't going to sell me their wonder product or get me to question my use of Metformin. I have blood work checked at least 4 times a year and part of that is monitoring for drug side effects.

Good Morning! It is still Morning...not an April Fools joke!
Chilly-cold out, sunny enough to cast a shadow, and windy enough to fly a kite! That's GA or the day..
I tried reading this thread on my phone while I petted Tom E. That didn't work out very well for either of us!
So, he wanted more food, and I gave him another small can of a 'fishy' pate. He ate about half of it, and then threw it up on the carpet. (should always start you day like this?) So then he wanted out..no objection from me..and he's now sleeping on his pillow on top of the coffee table...my poor house has become a home of convenience for a wild cat. Oh well, he's old, and seems to be happy....
Need to start a load of laundry. Did one yesterday, so today light clothes and then strip the bed linens. Also will hit the gym this afternoon. And empty the dishwasher.
I made a 'pot' of greens yesterday to go on top of my rice and beans...Was good...but only enough greens for today's lunch.
Other than that...I'm about done! Have lots of food in the refrigerator, and I want to use a packet of the Veg. Tikka Masala...so I think that will become dinner. Found Masala at a good price at Costco on my trip there on Friday. Or I can save the mixed greens that I cooked to go with the Masala and eat soup at lunch! That would work well!!
Tomorrow appears to be a better day for outdoors work, so today has become a stay in and clean day...

Hi
I'm back home from walking and not one cent was found. The Temperature out the door was 33 degrees. Yesterdays breeze is gone and the walking was more comfortable than Monday's walk.

Howdy all y'all. It's terrific Tuesday! Not quite as cool today, with a small chance of morning precipitation. I still have those few things to get from the grocery, and there is also a small chance that I might get out and buy those.

Today I am moderately busy, Bank, Grocery store, Dollar Store and send a problem report to Amazon. I ordered a 6 pack of A23 batteries. The padded envelope inside of the Amazon padded Envelope indicates 6 batteries and contained two 2 packs of the batteries for a shortage of 1/3 of the total. The A23 is a small 12 volt battery that fits the remote to control 3 remote power on and off switches.
Hopefully Your weather is better today.

No real plans should make a relaxing day IMO.
That sounds like You got a refund, When I file I choose the send me a check option as I prefer not to let Turbotax or the IRS have my account information.
Not as good as the Tax refund which I could actually change my withholding so that nothing is deducted, However the Tax preparer My Brother used until he retired suggested that it was better to have a yearly tax return.
Monday I got a notice from The Town Property tax office that the NJ Property tax rebate was being credited against the upcoming quarterly property tax, $167 for my half of the house and my brother had a check for the same amount recently, Every little bit helps.
They look happy with the growing environment, My grandparents always had plants on the windowsill too. I'm sure they brighten up the kitchen a lot. I have a problem keeping anything alive, even a Cast Iron Plant

Howdy all y'all. It's wonderful Wednesday! It's a bit chilly out there right now, but supposed to be quite nice later in the day. I need to get a little laundry going. I did get out yesterday for groceries but may pop out again today as J is on the last 12-pack of his Dew.
