    Hi
I'm back home from walking and no money was found. The Temperature out the door was showing 32 degrees. The time and temperature sign I passed showed 25 which I suspect was more accurate based on how it felt while walking.

I saw 5 deer trotting down the road near the start of my walk and while I was sitting in the living room I saw a different 5 deer in the front yard nibbling on my lawn.

Howdy all y'all. It's sumptuous Sunday! Today is supposed to be quite nice. The prediction anticipates a cooling trend over the next few days but not (yet?) back to full blown winter.
    Hi Ed
I guess I could call yesterday's weather forecast accurate where they said a few flakes could fall today and sure enough I saw a few stray flakes while walking.
INCREDIBLE VEGAN STREET FOOD IN LOS ANGELES
I should have known when I saw the preview image that it would be someplace like La La Land where they had Vegan Street Food
    Homemade Vs. Real "Impossible Burger"
Looking at the Preview image I see nothing that looks impossible so I really need to watch this one to see why they call it an impossible burger.
Irish Soda Bread Recipe - How to Make Irish Soda Bread - St. Patrick's Day Recipe
And it looks delicious too. I bookmarked this one to be sorted in the food bookmarks area later.
Kids Try Their Parents' Favorite Childhood Foods (Part 3)
I shudder to think what some of those might be.
What Is Chifa? The Chinese Peruvian Food You Never Heard Of
Other than way to much yellow rice for me and not enough meat it looks good.
I see I got my original Sunday post, with videos, up before Roger's final morning post for Sunday.

Now I am wondering, is it even better luck to eat a shillelagh on St. Patrick's day or will the leprechauns curse me to a life of bad luck and poverty?

Whatever the consequence, this shillelagh carrot is now in my largest Crock Pot, under the corned beef. Of course you can't see the carrot now and it may be difficult to see the corned beef, but the carrot is in there, along with a few friends, and some potatoes and onions! I'll cook some cabbage shortly before it's all done.
What can I say, "Pobody's Nerfect" comes to mind, I thought I was early too.
I am somewhat surprised by that Carrots shape, It was my impression that things like that got weeded out before being sold fresh and the less than perfect ones were used in prepared foods ?

    Potatoes

We had Boiled Corned Beef, Cabbage and small potatoes boiled in the same liquid yesterday and that was pretty much the holiday meal.

Today's meat is the second Corned Beef that my brother picked up with the second weeks coupon and baked. I will likley have the CostCo Normandy Mix with it. For Lunch and Dinner.
And I saved a bit of the raw cabbage for the stir fry I made for J.
That Stir Fry looks like it has amongst its ingredients carrots, cabbage, Onions, peppers and Tofu. Am I even close ?

    Have a Good Day
    Roger

Howdy all y'all. It's magnificent Monday! 4/39 with an expected high of 15/58 and 0% chance of precipitation. Sounds like a pretty nice day. Not much on the agenda, but I might ponder some laundry.

Breakfast was leftovers from last night's dinner and lunch probably will be as well.

You covered all of it except the minced garlic, which would be difficult to spot in the picture! J said it was really good. Since he's having it again for lunch today, I'm glad he liked it. We shared two of the dinner ingredients. Carrots and cabbage.

    Hi
I'm back home from walking and no money was found. The Temperature out the door was showing 34 degrees. There was a bright white orb in the sky lighting my way this morning. With that for much of my walk I was casting two shadows, one from the streetlights and a second equally distinct from the Moonlight.

The Scale looked favorably at me this morning and told me that I was a 1/4 pound under where I was Sunday Morning before overeating the St. Patty's Day foods

    Hello Ed
I had been pondering doing a load of Laundry also until my brother mentioned he was thinking of doing a load Today and I asked him to let me know if his load had enough room for my reflective safety vest which some nameless dummy spilled coffee on when said person was walking and if there was still room the hoodie could use a wash too.

I'll be darned I may be getting better at identifying ingredients
I sure did miss the Garlic, oh well.

Nothing wrong with saving time with leftovers. Yesterday my brother baked some discounted Sausage from his Sunday trip to the market so I stuck in a baking pan with the bacon I had in the fridge. Or to put it another way, why run the oven twice when You can get double duty out of one bake. So now I have precooked bacon I can use to spiff up the NS Chicken sandwich and the NS Hamburger and to add a little to the NS Pizzas. I was afraid that the nice Bacon sandwich I made with some of it along with Slice of 40 calorie bread that I used to soak up the drippings would impact my weight, Evidently the alterations I made to my days foods compensated for that.

Thus I do like the Baconator from Wendy's  I am not a big fan of Pickles and if I buy a burger that has them I tend to pull the pickle slices and eat them separately.
How to Make the Absolute Best Ground Beef Chili
I would likely not mind eating that, OTOH I would not use 6 dried ancho chiles, stemmed, seeded, and torn into 1-inch pieces as the recipe shows. My brother OTOH might leave them in and for sure would remove any beans as to him the only real chili has no beans.

    Hi Ed
That looks like Poached Eggs over some sort of sauteed vegetables to me. I never acquired the taste for poached eggs, I prefer them fried hard whether for a sandwich, Omelet or Scrambled.
Howdy all y'all. It's terrific Tuesday! Looks like another pretty nice day, though a bit chilly this morning. Nothing major on the agenda.
A day with nothing on the agenda sounds OK to me, That is my preference.

Yesterday we drove over to a new Grocery store that just opened in the area, We found out when a circular for them appeared in the Weekly Circular delivery arrived in the mail.
Some prices were good and some not. An example of what my brother thought was a good price was Chicken Leg & Thigh Quarters for $0.27 a pound in bulk. Myself I do not shop enough to know a good price when I see it. They appear to have just opened and had not even finished filling the shelves. One interesting thing is that the store is a combined Grocery Store and a True Value Hardware store that use the same set of registers.

I didn't mention one of the "Bargains" he bought Sunday was a 5 pound bag of french fries at a price of 2 for $3

    Hi
I'm back home from walking and no money was found. The Temperature out the door was showing 47 degrees. When I left the house all was dry, given the early rain in the forecast I modified my walking path so that I was more or less close to the house. At the furthest point I felt my first drop of rain and by the time I was home everything was wet and the rain had temporarily stopped. There is heavy rain in the forecast for later today :(

Spring may have sprung, however I have seen better looking days

This mornings weather forecast was titled Spring Fail

I could see the Super Moon last night around the 9:30 to 10PM time period as it appeared when the clouds that were moving in did not obscure it. This morning not a trace of it through the heavy cloud cover :(

Then in the description it says "By cooking our macaroni in the cheese sauce, we’re able to produce a one-pan mac and cheese that not only tastes better, but give or take a few minutes, is just about as fast and easy to make as that stuff from the box"
Thus it is not instant IMO. BTW I like the Kraft Dinner too. It is a different taste than the other Mac & Cheese and both are equally good IMO.

This is something I learned here, Thanks FWIW. "Pre-grated cheeses are of lower quality, and the shreds are coated in a cellulose power that can give the final product an odd texture."
