Slower Weight loss at 50?

Good morning.
Another chilly day, supposed to be some sunshine later.
We bought Chinet plates, they're pretty heavy duty. I was looking at the prettier Dixie plates, but they're not as sturdy. Disposable/recyclable are easier for large parties. I use regular dishes for everyday. Most of them are microwave safe.
Had a fairly lazy day yesterday, did a few things around the house and was checking out different grocery stores for party trays. Ordered some more CBD, and some vitamins online. Time really gets away from me when I'm online.
Happy Sunday, everyone.
I will admit that Fall has arrived, sadly.
Chinet plates are nice and sturdy is good.
There is some really nice disposable flatware available and if or when I get takeout the quality of what they supply is all over the place.
Sadly I was out to the grocery store with my brother and as a result I overate.
I am undecided as to whether or not to run to the Acme for a couple Dozen Medium Eggs at $0.77 a dozen to be turned into hard boiled eggs. I also bought two pounds of Kellers Butter at $2.99 a pound from the Shoprite as I have been using what my brother has been buying for a while now and it seemed only fair.
I also managed to forget to pick up Vitamin C
Online is a time sink for me, I surface and look at the clock and wonder where the time went.
Have a Good Day

Vix-How fun, planning the baby shower.
Roger-It was raining so hard here on Sat, that we only went to the glass blowing class and then came home. Yesterday it was sunny and quite warm.
Today I will putter around the house. When hubby gets home from work, he is taking me to get a rental car.
Have a great day!
Is the rental car being paid for by the insurance ?

Good morning.
Great pumpkins, Jo! Good that you'll be getting a rental car. I am so spoiled, I don't like the feeling of not having a car.
Irene, sorry that Annie's paw is giving her such a hard time. How old is Annie now?
Roger, it was dry enough for us to walk in the park yesterday. The leaves are starting to change color. It's pretty. Saw a little garden snake in the path.
I have a massage and acupuncture scheduled for today....I should be very relaxed!

Hi
I'm back home from walking and No Money found. The Temperature out the door was 41 degrees and comfortable. The Weather for Halloween is forecast for a high in the 60s, Whoopee.
I see that my Non Frozen NS order is being shipped from CHAMBERSBURG, PA USA, and that this seems a bit weird "Label created, Shipment information sent to FedEx, Sparks, NV
As well as My Frozen NS order From Breinigsville, PA USA is "In transit, On FedEx vehicle for delivery from CARTERET, NJ
Hopefully it will arrive earlier than the last two and not have to sit on the porch overnight to help it stay frozen. I prefer to process it in before 4PM when If I am feeling worn out I can get 3 hours of shuteye before the evenings activities.
Now for some Humor
The Businessman, the Beach, the Bible ...
A businessman was in a great deal of trouble. His business was failing, he had put everything he had into the business and he owed everybody. It was so bad he was even contemplating suicide.
As a last resort he went to a priest and poured out his story of tears and woe. When he had finished, the priest said, "Here's what I want you to do. Put a beach chair and your Bible in your car and drive down to the beach. Take the beach chair and the Bible to the water's edge, sit down in the beach chair and put the Bible in your lap. Open the Bible; the wind will rifle the pages, but finally the open Bible will come to rest on a page. Look down at the page and read the first thing you see. That will be your answer, that will tell you what to do."
A year later the businessman went back to the priest and brought his wife and children with him. The man was in a new custom-tailored suit, his wife in a mink coat, the children shining. The businessman pulled an envelope stuffed with money out of his pocket, gave it to the priest as a donation in thanks for his advice.
The priest recognized the benefactor and was curious. "You did as I suggested?" he asked.
"Absolutely," replied the businessman.
"You went to the beach?"
"Absolutely."
"You sat in a beach chair with the Bible in your lap?"
"Absolutely."
"You let the pages rifle until they stopped?"
"Absolutely."
"And what were the first words you saw?"
"Chapter 11."

Killer cats: The invasive species in your backyard.
But in one notable case, humans have been happy to make an invasive species feel at home. We're talking about cats: one of the most prolific invasive species in history.
The National Wildlife Federation defines invasive species as any kind of living organism — an animal, plant, seeds, even bacteria or fungus — that is not native to an ecosystem and causes harm. It turns out that domesticated cats have no native range. Originally bred from wild cats and introduced to North America by European colonists, domesticated cats are now listed as one of the top 100 invasive species worldwide by the International Union for the Conservation of Nature.

I tried out the tri color light in the Ceramic Pumpkin this morning in the darkened Living Room and I think it'll catch the eye, especially after dark. I have a second one, different make that I may sit on the step to the porch along with the Pumpkin on either side of the Door to catch the eye by day better.
The leaves are now turning and starting to fall.

That is not a Microwave I would want to hold onto and use. The Big AC in my brothers window went wonky towards the end of summer. The compressor would not turn off when the unit was off. The only way to stop that was trip the breaker. It did cool so it could have been worse. However the temperature setting did nothing too, it just kept cooling so cycling the power was the only control. They do not seem to make things as good as they used too.
Have a Nice Day

The weather starting with Halloween has been nice and warm for this time of year, back into the colder weather staring today and being colder Sunday according to the weather forecasts.
I am somewhat worried that sooner or later our microwave will die, it is not all that new.
I hope Your running around Friday was successful. Did You notice the 99 cent a pound Bone in pork chops at the Shoprite, today being the last day for that price. Starting tomorrow the circular has super coupons, not a selection of things we use here sadly.

Other than grocery shopping, I stayed in yesterday due to heavy rain.

I decided to try NS again and placed an order yesterday. I need to lose about 20 lbs.
I plan on going to Walmart today to get a NS starter kit, so I can start Monday to get this weight off. I tried on my own and it just wasn't working, I kept losing and gaining the same 5 lbs.

Good morning.
Well...it was an interesting couple of days....turns out a tornado hit about half a mile from our house on Friday night. Very strong winds and rain, and it did get loud. Our property is fine, but we were without electricity Friday evening through about 8:30 last night. We went out yesterday and most of the roads around our development were blocked off for repairs in different locations at different times, so we had to go in circles to get out and to get home.
There was about a mile of the main road we use to get here, where all the telephone poles were knocked down on both sides of the road, and lots of trees were down....same on side roads. It was good that they got it up and running so quickly.
Hope Annie's doing better, Irene.
Good luck with getting back on NS, Jo. I'd like to lose about 20 pounds too, but am avoiding packaged food, so will try to do it on my own (haha...it hasn't worked so well!)
Roger, luckily it was fairly warm Friday night and early Saturday. It's colder this morning. Frosty outside. We've been walking in the park anyway, just bundled up a little yesterday (and wore old shoes that could get muddy).
Happy Sunday, everyone.0 -
good morning, well Annie paw and knee is looking better we took her for a little walk. We are keeping her out of the kitchen so she won't slid and re hurt her paw it is still swollen but not as bad. Jo sorry you are having a hard time loosing welcome back to ns . Hey Vix and Roger0

It is tough losing or maintaining on Your own, there are too many temptations in the stores and advertised on TV. Example, Burger King seems to be running a 10 piece Chicken Nuggets for a Dollar and I see that Wendy's is advertising any size French Fry for a Dollar, Toss in the Pizza Chain advertisements, Taco Bell and McDonalds and
Good idea staying in unless there is something critical I would do that too, once I get the walking in and on a rainy day that gets shortened too.
Good Luck

Wow, A Tornado, It sounds like You got lucky that Your property is OK. They seem to be able to work miracles repairing that sort of damage as long as it is not widespread and generally a Tornado damages a limited area.
The worst I saw was some smaller branches all over the area when walking this morning from the wind gusts yesterday. I could hear them whistling around the house.
It ain't easy on You own. The weather was not bad from Halloween to Saturday.
I keep a old pair of shoes for walking in the rain only.
Have a Nice Day
