    Hi all.
Busy day with stained glass, clay, and family time.
Roger, a frittata is a lot like an omelette, just thicker and with the ingredients mixed in. Good for groups because you can put it in a baking dish, and it's ready for everyone at the same time.
Irene are you Christmas shopping already?
Jo, always good to give away things you're not using. I kept some smaller things that I like. Hope to fit back in sometime.

    Hello Irene
Hang in, Warmer weather is coming, sooner or later

My Brother likes the Christmas Tree Store and for different things Bed Bath and Beyond, and will never go to CostCo even though he has no problem with using the paper goods I buy there. Another thing he will never do is go through a Drive Thru be it fast food, Bank or whatever.

    Have a Good Day

    Hello Vix
Busy, busy, busy seems to be Your motto

Thank You for the explanation, I had a feeling it might be something like that and making it in a baking dish for that reason makes a lot of sense, I would not have thought of doing that. being that I use the Microwave a lot I have made Scrambled eggs in it, with a little butter and salt they come out OK, One thing I learned by looking on the Internet is never try to make hard Boiled eggs in the shell in a Microwave, Luckily I learned that be researching to see how long to MW them before I tried it

Christmas shopping, I know some people that start right after Christmas ends, Myself I tend to wait until November.

I suspect we all have clothes we hope, expect to fit back into.

    Have a Nice Day

Ah, it looks a little warmer here today, 48 and sunny, with a high expected of 64. Come on, Spring! Daffodils, anemone, and hyacinths are starting to bloom.

    Hi Vix
I am sure that they can give You what You need, Could it be Cane or maybe it's called Came ?

I also see a few Grape Hyacinths, What happened to most of them I do not know, Last year they were all over including big clusters in the lawns.

FWIW The Free Hams at the local Shoprite were once again a no show Sunday and the butcher told my brother they should be in this upcoming weekend, Ha, Same thing he said the week before. It seems to be a store problem, Tuesday I went to a different ShopRite and picked one up from a small selection, They had Shank, Butt and Spiral at that ShopRite.

    Hi Irene
A hand Crocheted Afghan is a heck of a gift IMO.

It is my guess that the name may have come from being a specialty shop that expanded their line of goods beyond Christmas Items ?

Whee, 10 Gift cards is a good stock, once I add another to the upcoming order I will have one left so I need to order 5 more while the sale is on.

Could You explain how You are getting 50% off, If I could do that I would also change to A La Carte as the Two Snack sections that the men's plan has is too many snacks.

    Hi Roger
    I found a dime yesterday.
I went to a Yoga class last evening. I was about 20 minutes into it and started to feel sick.
I had to leave and barely made it home before I was sick to my stomach. After that I couldn't get warm. I think I picked up a bug. I feel a little better today, but decided to stay home from work.
    Have a great day! :)

I keep forgetting to check Numi :(
60% off is an awesome deal and then if You use the gift cards too there is no way to eat cheaper unless You use Rice and Dried beans

I hope the smoke is not bothering You. A controlled burn can save a lot later if there is a fire. The California Wildfires would not have been nearly as destructive if they had not prevented controlled burns and clearing of the underbrush from what I have read.

When I combine the On Sale Gift Cards with the 20% discount the price becomes pretty affordable, Add in the Frozen Vegetables from CostCo and some inexpensive protein and fruit from CostCo and Voila, I decent price for the days food.

I am guessing that part of the came that was ordered is the actual thickness of the glass they take ?

The Russian thing is weird as is that You can evidently buy it here even now on Amazon :(

    Good morning all.
Overcast with a high of 51 today, rain expected later. No plans yet.
Roger, the size of the came is not only chosen for the thickness of the glass, but the size of the piece. You can use much thinner came for suncatchers than you can for a larger work. It helps hold the piece together over time, and gives you a sturdier frame to hang it from.
I know California does controlled burns...maybe they couldn't keep up with all the crazy weather and emergencies. It sounded like the recovered extinct animals would be mostly hybrids...so not the originals.
Jo, hope you're feeling better...it does sound like a bug.
Irene, the pinelands are nice. Hope you don't get too much smoke from the burn...it's not good for the lungs.

    Hi
I'm back home from walking and no cents were found. The Temperature out the door was 41 degrees, OTOH the time & temperature display I passed showed 38 degrees. Either way it felt a lot less cold than Yesterday.

The rain from yesterday was gone when I went out the door, I did get dripped on from trees I walked under so I am guessing it had not ended all the much earlier.

    Hi Vix
I thought I had read that California did not clear the areas that burned recently, I could be way wrong too.

That makes sense that the size also affects the came and is something that had not occurred to me, Thank You for the explanation. Suncatchers, I sort of wonder when they became popular, My remembrance of them is that they are based on something the Southwestern American Indians Made ?

That was my take on it that they might look the same but would not be a exact match for the extinct species.

I think the closest I ever came to the Pinelands was driving south on the Garden State Parkway

I hope the smoke at least stays outside of Irene's house.

    Hello Irene
That is good news, I find it irritating when smoke from someones fireplace leaks into the house, I can not imagine how much worse smoke from a blaze would be.

As You say tasty and good quality, I will admit that despite their being advertised on the TV that when I bought a bag of Halo brand tangerines that they are actually a really good product that tastes good and last a long time in the refrigerator when compared to the other brands I have bought.

I have looked out the window and looked at the lawn and decided not yet on raking and general cleanup of the yard. Is that my procrastination or a realistic judgement call ? I do not know.

Good Luck with Your cleaning up.

    Hi
I'm back home from walking and not a single solitary cent was found. The Temperature out the door was 57 degrees and the rain had moved out of the area, not that early from how wet things were. Today's forecast high is in the upper 70s, Too soon BTW.
