Just finished catching up on everything.
Irene-I hope Annie's paw is getting better. What about a cone? I know they are uncomfortable, but maybe she will not be able to reach her paw to lick it.
Roger-We bought windbreakers from Amazon a few years ago. I believe they were Columbia brand.
Vix-I haven't seen any signs of blooming flowers. Our temp is getting warmer, by Sat we will be up in the 60's.
Last week I found 26 cents, first find in a very long time.
Today I don't start work until 10am. I have been busy this morning, washing the kitchen and bathroom floors, dusting, dusting moping and vacuuming. I am trying to get all my housework done, so I can enjoy my 3days off from work, Sat, Sun and Mon.
Have a great day!
You are here early.
I can take it that the Windbreaker was satisfactory or You would have said it wasn't.
Our temperatures will be in the 60s for at least one day at some point in the near future.
You and Vix both make me feel lazy with all Your activities.
Congratulations on the 26 cents.

Good morning.
Jo, that sounds like a lot to do in the morning! But I totally understand wanting to enjoy your nice long weekend without housework.
Irene hope the vet wrap works. Glad your arm is feeling better.
Roger, it seems so strange to me what some people worry about. Walmart, satanic, really? I didn't read the article, sounds rediculous. Anyway... I like to keep busy (not doing housework!)
Off to art class this morning, then going with my daughter to her Dr. appt.
Supposed to go up to 60 degrees today.

I hope that Your daughters appointment at the doctor went well. I really need to get busy with the vacuum cleaner, Procrastinator that I am wish me luck with that.

Congrats on the find, Yesterday was the best day I have had finding money in quite a while, I have a suspicion that the warmer weather may be helping me find money.
Today's weather is forecast to in the mid 60s then light rain for Sunday. When I headed out the door I could see from the lack of stars and the reflected glow of the street lights that the clouds were low.
I turned off the heat already for the day, if I get to cold it is easy enough to turn on. There is a Switch at the head of the stairs to the basement and another one mounted on the furnace. I leave the Thermostat settings unchanged from year to year as it is not a digital Thermostat and is the older type mercury switch.
Tomorrow is Grocery Shopping day for my brother as that is when the new sales prices start as well as any store coupons.
Have a Nice Day

The visits to the florists yesterday was fun and I've made appointments.
Jo, glad it's warming up for you too. I think it's supposed to go up to the 70s today and cooling off again tomorrow.
Irene, sorry the wrap didn't work for Annie.
Roger, we're grocery shopping today too. Having a brunch for my son's birthday tomorrow. I need to decide what kind of cheesecake I want to make and then buy the ingredients.

No free ham yet, for some reason they have not had them at the Grocery Store. We tried Yesterday Morning and the only ones in stock were the Spiral Cut which my brother does not want. According to the Butcher they should have come in on the Afternoon truck so my Brother plans to go today despite being there yesterday
He is afraid that someone might be able to get one based on the money spent to earn it. Last year that caused some headaches and eventually we did get one, OTOH that means someone that did not earn it also got a free ham

I hope the cone does the job, Good Luck with it

Good morning;
Irene-congrats on finding a dollar.
Roger-congrats on finding a quarter. You were both luckier than I. I only found a penny.
Vix-Happy birthday to your son.
We went to the gym this morning. We didn't go at all last week due to our schedules.
Today I plan on trying on clothes. I brought 4 boxes down from the attic that I have been saving. I think it is time to go through them and donate the items that I don't want.
It was so nice yesterday that I opened all the windows and aired out the house.

Hi
I'm back home from walking and I no money as I was walking today. The Temperature out the door was 33 degrees. There was a breeze blowing this morning that took the wind chill into the 20s and felt worse when I was facing into it.
Still no Ham, Sunday the Butcher said next weekend. What the heck, is there a shortage of Cooks brand Hams or is it a issue with the one store ?
Since My brother was going to the market Sunday I added a few things from the Circular and ended up spending $15 on a couple of boxes of cereal, Butter and a breakfast bowl from evol called Smoked Uncured Ham Benedict that was tasty when I tried it last week. If You hold their logo up to the mirror the backwards facing evol becomes love
200 calories and 21g carbohydrates works for me.

The quarter was just sitting there when I looked over to the left as I was walking, I usually find what money I find in Parking lots or on the sidewalks in from of businesses.
Saturday was a great day here too. We donated a lot of clothes in the past trying to make the closets usable.
Congratulations on Donating

Hi
I'm back home from walking and not one cent was found. The Temperature out the door was 33 degrees. Yesterdays breeze is gone and the walking was more comfortable than Monday's walk.
My brother got me yesterday, when he told me he had a winning lottery ticket for $500 I believed him, Then April Fools.
Today I am moderately busy, Bank, Grocery store, Dollar Store and send a problem report to Amazon. I ordered a 6 pack of A23 batteries. The padded envelope inside of the Amazon padded Envelope indicates 6 batteries and contained two 2 packs of the batteries for a shortage of 1/3 of the total. The A23 is a small 12 volt battery that fits the remote to control 3 remote power on and off switches.
Just wrong In My Opinion, Or just another ploy to get control of more money.

The rain was enough to get things wet without causing any flooding so it could have been worse.
I was wondering if the fire or the smoke from it was bothering you.

I can understand holding onto those, Insurance just in case and Good Luck fitting the smaller ones. I did get rid of a lot of the biggest clothes and held onto some that were one size to large for one reason. They could be used if something caused a problem with the laundry.
