Good morning. Looks like another beautiful Spring day.
    Happy Wednesday, everyone. :)

    Hi Vix
Today is sort of gloomy looking, OTOH no rain while walking so...

    Have a Good Day
    Roger
Good Morning, well yesterday on our 2 nd walk Annie was attack by 2 pitt bulls they almost killed her . I ran her over to the vet and they stitched up her neck, legs and back end she is really sore I think I was in shock the only thing that saved her was guys stopped and pulled the dogs off of her. The owners are neighbors and they offered to pay the bills and has built a run in there back yard so this won't happen again the only problem is some of the tears were pretty deep say a pray they didn't do damage to her muscles I take her back on Friday for a check up. well so today I will just take it easy

    Hi Irene
I am very sorry to hear that happened. I have been thinking I should get some pepper spray or mace to carry while walking just in case. I hope there is no permanent physical damage, the mental anguish bot of You must be feeling is something I hope I never have to handle again.

Pit Bull attacks appear on a regular basis on the TV news out of New York City. They are a breed I would not to own due to the liability if they attack someone or a pet.

    Good Luck
    Roger

good morning, thanks Roger we are still trying to get over this it is a horrible thing to go threw. On the bright side we went for a little walk I couldn't put on her collar due to staples and stitches in her neck but I was able to put a harness on her ,we have ordered pepper spray so we will be more protected take care everyone

OMG! Irene, that is so awful....poor Annie. I hope she can recover fully. Those pit bulls should not be allowed out in public at all. It must have been so scary for both of you.
Roger, gray and cloudy here too. I'm just back from painting class. Hung the paintings that were back from the fair. And started a drawing for my next painting.
    Hi Jo....hope all is well.
Hoping today is a better day.

    Good morning;
I just got through reading the posts from this week.
Irene-I am so sorry to hear about Annie. I pray that she will recover quickly. Were the pit bulls running loose? Is there a lease law in NJ? Good idea to get pepper spray.
    Vix-congratulations on your painting.
Hi Roger-thanks for the humor. I enjoy them.
Hubby had some minor surgery this morning and is now napping.
He is a trouper and will be back a work on Monday.
    Enjoy this beautiful day. :)

    And more new humor, enjoy

    Hi
I'm back from walking no cents. The temperature this morning was 63 degrees and the walking was good.
Today is looking nice outside and the Iris that I thought would possibly open today ended up opening in the
afternoon Thursday. Rain is showing in the weather forecast for Saturday and Sunday :(

I had the new NS Butterscotch Cake @ 140 Calories before heading out the door, I put it in the refrigerator overnight and gave it enough time in the MW to warm it up. It was tasty not quite as good as the Cinnamon Coffee Cake, OTOH better than the NS Carrot Cake.

I did go to the bank and CostCo yesterday and spent $94.43 on the paper goods, vegetables, Apples etc.

Good idea ordering pepper spray. At least Annie was able to get out for a short walk.

This may sound like a weird idea ? Have You thought about using a Fiberglass or wood cane while walking. Having one that has some weight could let You use it as a club just in case.

Hopefully You hear good news at the Vets.

FWIW I heard this one on the 11AM news yesterday
This is the best day — and time — to list your home for sale

Listing your home on a certain day — and even a certain time of day — may make it sell faster and for more money.
Thursday is the most popular day for agents to debut new listings, and homes listed on that day apparently sell fastest, according to Redfin, a real estate brokerage.
For the specific time of day, one broker puts her new listings online at 5 p.m.

    Hi Vix
My brother refers to Pit Bulls as defective dogs. There have been news reports on the TV where they attack their owners or the owners children despite having been pets in the home for years. I know I would not want the liability owning one.

It looks like I have one nice day and then tow days or rainy weather. Yesterday was gloomy outside and the forecast thunderstorms never happened near me. I saw a few stray drops on the window and that was all the rain we got and after dark we could see lightning flashes in the distance and faint thunder.

Good Luck with the next painting

    New Jersey Leash Law
The governing body of every municipality may make, amend, repeal and enforce ordinances to prohibit or regulate the running at large of dogs.

Hope all goes well for Annie at the vet today, Irene. Hugs.
Roger, it rained here late afternoon and overnight. Supposed to be sunny with a high of 76 today. Nice Spring day.
    Hi Jo.
No special plans for today. May put some more houseplants outside, maybe go for a walk or a mall. Need to do some tidying around the house. Kids are coming tomorrow for Mother's Day.

And yet more humor is posted

    Hi
I'm back from walking no cents. The temperature this morning was 55 degrees and the walking was good considering the light rain falling. Our Friday was a really nice day, not to hot, not to cold and dry

This mornings rain is forecast to end in a while then a break before what is predicted to be heavy rain lots of wind, lightning and a possibility of rotating winds :(

Today I need to resist the temptation to go get some PAD SEE EW, Stir fried broad rice noodles in sweet soy sauce with Chinese broccoli and eggs
or Pad Thai, Stir fried rice noodles with eggs, bean sprouts, tofu and scallions.

I had the new NS Lemon Zest Cake @ 140 Calories before heading out the door, I put it in the refrigerator overnight and gave it enough time in the MW to warm it up. It was tasty I think I prefer the Cinnamon Coffee Cake. I consider all three of the new snack cakes to be a good addition to the NS snacks.

Friday was a great day for weather, now we go into the dumps for Today and Sunday :(

And here I thought Sunday was mothers day  It sounds like a good idea, especially if You were planning to go out for mothers day. Avoid the crowd and noise.

Wowsers, You have a busy day ahead from what I can see with three different things being celebrated.

    Cheers

Irene, glad Annie is doing well...here's hoping for a speedy recovery. Thanks for the M-Day wishes. You too. It's a shame you no longer feel safe. I bought pepper spray years ago when I was working and had to work late....our parking lot was not safe in the dark, and I had a person working for me who was scary.
Roger, we had nice weather yesterday and today, except it is expected to go up to 85 today. I've been enjoying morning coffee on the patio. T-storms tonight and tomorrow.

    Happy Mother's Day!
Irene-I am glad Annie is doing better.
Roger-Thanks for the info on the new NS desserts.
    Vix-Family time is always fun!
Hubby and daughter are taking me out to brunch today.
Hubby is doing fine. He has only been taking Tylenol for minor discomfort. The Dr. did give him a prescription for pain meds, but he didn't need them.
It rained yesterday and is cloudy today. The rest of the week looks good weather wise.
    Enjoy your day! :)
