Good morning, the vet is really happy at how well she is doing we go back again next Tuesday. She will keeping the staples in till at least 21 st no swimming until the not even in her puppy pool. The owners of the Pitt bulls sent us flowers yesterday still not sure how I fill I know they feel bad .Today we plan on taking Annie for a walk yesterday I got the new spray I also plan on taking my walking stick with us when we walk. Our walking has changed I no longer feel safe but as long as George is with me we will be fine. Jo and Vix have a great Mother's day incase I don't get back on. Roger I did have the lemon zest I love it I just let it defrost in the fridge it was awesome . It is really raining here so take care everyone

    Hi Irene
I'm glad to hear that Annie is doing so good. I think between the Pepper Spray and the Walking stick You should be good to go. I am sorry to hear that You no longer feel safe, OTOH that is 100% understandable.

I have now tried the three new NS frozen snack cakes and I liked them all and will be ordering good quantities of them in the future. For me in order or like they are the Cinnamon coffee cake, Butterscotch cake and then the Lemon Zest Cake. They are very close in likes so I am glad I ordered 6 or 7 of each of them taking a chance

We had rain in the morning then a bit of a break, more rain and the rain seemed to be finished before noontime. I never saw any more before I retired for the night and things were dry today when I set out until I was nearly home. That rain does not seem to have been heavy enough to get the ground under the trees wet.
good morning, George and Annie is still sleeping. We had a real bad storm last night a lot of heavy rain. I think we are suppose to get more rain today which is ok for my it really is good for my grass. Vix the coffee on the patio sounds nice. hey Jo and Roger

From what I was seeing in the weather forecasts where You are in BM was supposed to get much worse weather than my area in the northern part of Central Jersey. I hope the weather did not bother Annie.

BTW I had a heads up that the NS gift cards are on sale again until the 20th of May, when I checked it out that sale started April 30. I am hopeful I can order more to use for my next order.

    Wish Me Luck

Irene, glad Annie is doing well...here's hoping for a speedy recovery. Thanks for the M-Day wishes. You too. It's a shame you no longer feel safe. I bought pepper spray years ago when I was working and had to work late....our parking lot was not safe in the dark, and I had a person working for me who was scary.
Roger, we had nice weather yesterday and today, except it is expected to go up to 85 today. I've been enjoying morning coffee on the patio. T-storms tonight and tomorrow.
    Hi Jo.
    Hi Vix
Your weather is better than ours. I am thinking about changing my mind with regard to leaving the heat off until fall weather with today's outdoor temps. OTOH if it hit 85 degrees the AC would be turned on...

Rain here too. Forecast for rain all week.
Had a really nice time with the family yesterday. Will be going to my son's GFs graduation on Friday....another celebration.
    Happy Sunday!

    Happy Mother's Day!
Irene-I am glad Annie is doing better.
Roger-Thanks for the info on the new NS desserts.
    Vix-Family time is always fun!
Hubby and daughter are taking me out to brunch today.
Hubby is doing fine. He has only been taking Tylenol for minor discomfort. The Dr. did give him a prescription for pain meds, but he didn't need them.
It rained yesterday and is cloudy today. The rest of the week looks good weather wise.
    Enjoy your day! :)

    Hi Joanne
I'm happy that the info helped. If You noticed in my post to Irene I put them in order of preference, They are very close however and I am hopeful I can get some more NS gift cards in this current sale. I say hopeful as the last one had a limit of 5 cards and I hope that was only for the sale period and not for the year. I will find out later when I go to buy them

I did take a couple of Aspirin this morning since I woke up with a headache, So far so good. I prefer them to the other OTC pain meds.

There seems to be a chance of rain for most of the week from what last nights weather forecasts were showing.

    Have a Nice Mothers Day

    Hi
I'm back from walking no cents. The temperature this morning was 53 degrees the same as yesterday and the walking was OK. At some point overnight rain had been falling and everything was soaked as the rain was ending when I left the house.

    Hi Vix
It is slowly drying out after several periods of overnight rain. The lawn is looking raggedy, One week after I mowed last Monday, Luckily it is my Brothers turn to mow and he may decide to mow anyway...

I am underwhelmed by the weeks weather forecast too.

Hopefully it is better than forecast for both of us

    Cheers

    Hi all.
Roger, good luck with the mowing....all this rain will probably make it grow more!
Jo, your brunch sounds delish! Sunny here this afternoon too. :)
Irene, that's a lot of work! Glad Annie is doing so well. I was worried about her.
Started cleaning my MILs old prints and frames...it's a lot ...taking them apart and cleaning all the pieces best I can. Bought some antique gold paint to touch up some of the frames, and ordered a frame pliers so I can put them back together a little more easily.
My cleaning team got too busy with cleaning new houses, so our last job will be on Wednesday. They will clean the house and windows.....I hope it's not raining too much for them to do the windows. Then I have to start looking for someone else to clean for us. I've been trying to do better at keeping it done, but still need someone for the floors and bathtub/shower scrubbing.
Enjoy the rest of the day, have a good evening.

I had the New Baked Banana and Chocolate Oatmeal for breakfast Monday, I had ordered two and I wish I had only ordered one to try, oh well, I will not be reordering them FWIW.

My brother cut the grass yesterday, that makes the third cutting already. He did the initial cut two weeks ago, last week I did it and then it was his turn again. It does make it a bit less tedious alternating like that. Today is forecast to be in the 80s. It felt humid outside while walking and there was some fog in the air :(

    HI Irene
I was happy that I did not have to mow yesterday it being my brothers turn
If we had sandy soil my brother would be adding tons of organic material to it to build it up. As is we do till some top soil and last years mulch into the gardens planting areas along with fertilizer and lime to the amount the tester shows is needed based on what plants will go there.

I was able to get 5 more NS eGift cards. I ordered Monday and the email with the printing information was in my email the same day. Good Luck getting them. $59.95 for a $100 face value is Good for me.

Congratulations on Annie doing so well

    Hi Vix
I am afraid that You are correct, all this rain mixed with Sun is making the lawn grow fast. I would not be surprised if some of the old ornate frames have a dollar value. I had never heard of frame pliers before, is that something You learned about in Your painting classes ?

Good Luck finding a reliable replacement for the cleaning team. I know what You mean, every time either of us has to get down on our knees they complain while down and then when getting back up.

    Hi
I'm back from walking one shiny dime Plus one shiny Canadian Dime . The temperature this morning was 64 degrees.
Our weather was off and on Tuesday, Fog in the morning, High temperatures in the low 90s and then Thunderstorms and rain in the late evening into early nighttime.

I am giving serious thought to reloading to factory condition the one laptop. It has been to slow since it took the free upgrade to Windows 10. Doing that will require it to download almost all if not all of the Microsoft windows updates as I bought it new with Windows 7 right after Windows 7 was released.

I had the New NS Artichoke and Spinach Stuffed Chicken Breast, Tasty enough, I could taste the Red Peppers in it OTOH so that limits its appeal for me. I will reorder just not heavy despite the nice low calorie count and low carb count.

    Hi
I'm back from walking and 2 cents. The temperature this morning was 58 degrees.
It was raining when I left for Coffee and I shortened my walk as a result. According to this mornings forecast the rain should end sometime in the afternoon. This will make my brother grumpy as he is chafing to work on the garden. There is also rain in the forecast through Sunday.
It would appear that the tri-state metropolitan area had 5 Tornadoes in the EF1 and EF2 category this week.
