good morning, Roger we always try to go early for our walks. The weather yesterday was weird it seemed to get colder as the day went on. Well I got a message from my lawyer if the buyer sighed the papers last night then we can close on Wednesday not sure if he did or not so hopefully we will close on Wednesday. No big plans for today George plans on taking care of the leaves that had fallen. hey vix and jo hope you are all doing great
    Hi Irene
I was out the door early and I know I will be tired later, Probably a afternoon nap.

It stayed Gloomy all day Saturday and there was some light rain in the afternoon followed by more rain in the overnight from looking at the roads when I headed out the door for my walk. I also felt a on and off really light drizzle.

Hopefully the Buyer signed the papers last night and the house sale ends quickly.

    Good Luck
    Roger

    Good morning.
Another foggy gray a.m. High of 77 expected today. No plans for today. May go to the library, other small errands, maybe a little cleaning...will see what the day brings.
Irene and Roger...you are both doing great with all the walking. It will help keep you healthy, I'm sure.
    Hi Jo.
    Happy Saturday, everyone.
    Hi Vix
If Your temperatures were that warm You had us beat.
Does Your Library offer Audiobooks via disks and over the internet like ours does ?

    Healthy would be good IMO.

    Good morning;
Congratulations to you all for getting out and walking. I have not been doing so well. My hip has been acting up. I suspect the muscles are just tight from not being used. My daughter is going to teach me some yoga stretches to see if that helps.
She did well on her first knitting lesson. Yesterday's lesson I taught her how to pearl. She will practice that for the week.
Irene-Keeping my fingers crossed that the closing will take place this week.
Roger-you guessed right, we are planning to go to the UK. :)
Vix-Do you have any baby things saved from your children? I kept anything hand made or knit
and also my husband made a cradle when my son was born and I have a christening dress that my mother made for my daughter.
Today we are going to SOWA market. We haven't been there since the spring.
    Have a good day! :)
    Hi Joanne
I hope You are right and that the Yoga Stretches help, Good Luck with that.

Mom saved many things from her early days including her old Girl Scout uniform which was likely form the 30s.
Saving things like what You saved are a good legacy for Your daughter to have in the future.

    Enjoy the SOWA Market

    Good morning.
    Good luck, Irene.
Roger, the wind power is much better long term. And it's helping to cool the polar regions which is good. Also they can probably figure out how to right-size the farms to have minimal effects.
Jo, yoga can help especially if it's just the muscles. I really should start knitting again. I did keep a few baby things...a blanket, the sleeper I took them home from the hospital in, a couple of little outfits, and a couple of toy trucks. I got rid of a lot when we moved almost 5 years ago.
Will be doing some last minute lookups and packing today.
    Happy Sunday, everyone. :)

    Good morning;
We had fun at SOWA market. My daughter bought me a succulent plant.
We had fish taco's for lunch from one of the food trucks.
It didn't start to rain here until about 5pm.
Today Vinny has a vet appt. for his 6 month check-up. After that my daughter and I are going to go walking at a place called Moose Hill. It is a nice walk through the woods. Last time we were there we saw an owl.
Irene-I hope you hear from your lawyer soon. It is nerve wracking waiting to close.
Vix-Have a great time on your trip.

I just posted the latest humor

    Hi
I'm back home from walking and No Money found. The Temperature out the door was 70 degrees and Semi comfortable except for when the breeze was blowing and then it was comfortable.

An Indian walks into a cafe with a shotgun in one hand and pulling a male buffalo with the other. He says to the waiter:

    “Want coffee.”

The waiter says, “Sure, Chief. Coming right up.”

He gets the Indian a tall mug of coffee.

The Indian drinks the coffee down in one gulp, turns and blasts the buffalo with the shotgun, causing parts of the animal to splatter everywhere and then just walks out.

The next morning the Indian returns.

He has his shotgun in one hand, pulling another male buffalo with the other.

He walks up to the counter and says to the waiter:

    “Want coffee.”

The waiter says, “Whoa…! We’re still cleaning up your mess from yesterday. What was all that about, anyway?”

The Indian smiles and proudly says,

“Training for a position in United States Senate. Come in, drink coffee, shoot the bull, leave mess for others to clean up, disappear for rest of day.

    Hi Irene
I was not that happy with the overnight temperatures either, I wonder where the lower overnight temps shown on the News12 were in NJ.

Not enough leaves to bother with yet, they are starting to fall and we will be bagging them to use later as insulation for the Fig Trees, Then in the spring they get Roto tilled into the garden.

Good Luck with the Closing, Any new news yet?

    Have a Good Day

    Hello Irene
Darn it, I had hoped the closing would be done for You.

The weather has been gloomy and drizzly for a couple of day already. I felt stupid yesterday after I I checked for Mail and then remembered that the Post Office lobby was dark where usually it is well lit when I walk past it and then I remembered it was a federal holiday and managed to forget that when I looked for the mail in the afternoon, Oops
I bet George enjoyed having a Monday off.

    Good Luck with the closing

I am sure that You are ecstatic that the long awaited closing will be happening today.
Did You ever find that the ADT was a help or do You think the the Decal or sign that You have it was a good deterrent ?

Have You noticed that Your PSE&G bills have been lower lately like I have ?

I hope the humidity was not too bad when You walked today. Hopefully the forecast rain from Michael is not to bad for You as it looks like South NJ will get the worst of the rain. .

    Hi
I'm back home from walking and No Money found. The Temperature out the door was 73 degrees and uncomfortable due to the humidity. There is rain in forecast that is predicted to be in the 1 to 2 inch range with wind in the 30+ MPH.

I washed and dried my laundry yesterday. The new dryer seems easy enough to use. It does have what my brother calls a annoying hum, it did not bother me.

I did know that there is a exit tax, My best guess is that they passed that one since if You are leaving the state You won't be voting here in NJ so that there is nothing You do about it.
