Arete, you have inspired me to not worry about the scale much anymore. WOW! The difference is simply astounding! Great job!!!!
And Drawn...you look like you've lost a heck of a lot more than 35 lbs. Amazing!
*sigh* I need to get some pics taken so I can see the difference when the time comes.0 -
I just love to see everyone's progress, you are all amazing!!! ❤️❤️❤️0

These are by far my favorite threads on these forums. I love seeing everyone's progress as they lose weight — it's so inspiring. Congratulations to everyone on here! You guys are rockin' it!
I recently ran across some pictures taken when I was at my heaviest weight. I was blown away by the difference. I've lost 40 pounds — 20 before joining MyFitnessPal, and 20 since joining and adopting a Paleo lifestyle. Here's what I looked like before:
And here's what I look like now:
I still have 60 pounds to lose, but these pictures definitely give me motivation to keep going.

@professionalHobbyist Thank you for the kind words of encouragement!
@wheatlessgirl66 Thank you! I do feel like a million bucks! I have way more energy than I did 40 pounds ago. The funny thing is, I was at my heaviest weight when I was in my 20s. Now I'm 32, and I look and feel better than I did a decade ago.0 -
Thanks everyone for your kind and supportive comments.
Kasey, you are looking amazingly different and look so much younger!
Inspirationstation - what a beautiful family you have. Congratulations on your hard work.

Now is 232. I still have a great deal to go, but I can really see a difference in my face and abdomen.

Minties! Look at you! Way to go.
Prohobbyist - That muscle mass certainly belies those that believe you can't work out without carbs.
DrawntoScale - I must agree. You look younger, healthier and happy while you're playing.
Moonius - Fantastic. What can I say? You look like a happy man and now that smile reaches all the way to your eyes.0 -

@moonius awesome work! I'm amazed by everyone that has lost so much, i know how hard it's been too lose my 30 lbs, to lose over 100 is incredible.0

This thread makes me SO HAPPY! This entire forum has been such a blessing to me. It's great to see so many people supporting and encouraging one another.0 -
I'm so, so, so happy today. This probably won't mean much to any of you as you all seem to measure in pounds, but today I got under 80kg. Wow. For me this is a changing moment in my life. Instead of weighing 39kg more than my partner, I'm only 3.5kg heavier than him now. I am also no longer the heaviest person in my family. I never thought this day would ever come. (253lbs 8oz to 175lbs 4oz since Jan 4th).0

Minties - Your partner weighs under 80kg? That seems low. My husband has to be about 95-100. He is 6'3" though. I've never weighed less than he does. Let's see what the future brings.0
