    Soooo pooped from humidity and heat that I forgot to log miles last night. I had to change my shirt four times yesterday....yikes. This mornings run was like swimming in an aquarium. It was an easy run but at 100% humidity and high dew points, it was tough going and heavy legs to boot. I will post this run tonight.


    July 14: 9.5 miles of nothing but sweaty walking.

    @anaconda469: Your looking great in your photo and no big signs of the accident. Although those wounds could be quite intimidating to other cyclist. I am sure that people looking at my KT tapings wonder if I am part of the circus
    I will log in today's run tonight with my other miles.

    @Dave: I am feeling for you. Humidity is terrible here. My husband's kayak shoes are starting to mold because they won't dry out.
    Rain yesterday and today. Please no rain for Sunday. A mist or light sprinkle is okay.

    Girls' group ride yesterday in the heat and humidity. I'm down 2 lbs today thanks to all the sweating! :neutral:

    3.1 run/walk. Paused my 1 mile run to grab a turtle out of the street, poor thing was upside down. Ran him to the edge of the lake - he practically dove out of my hand into the water - my running probably made him nauseous - and went back to the trail.

    Vacation is over now, home pouting for these last few hours.

    In the pic, that contraption behind me is a 7 person bicycle. It has seats on the side, front and back. you pedal in the position you are facing, but the 'thing' is going forward. I tried it and almost puked. Bend also has another thing, the pedaling cocktail lounge. It is a Tiki hut with torches, a bartender in the center, 6 people on bar stools pedaling and drinking. The first time I saw that, I about died laughing. I am going back next week, so I will try to get a picture of it. Just riding along getting miles.

    2 miles on the elliptical tonight. It also might be my turn for dog walking later but I'm hoping DH wants to go instead of me. Our lab has been super naughty and hyper on walks since we've been back from camping

    OK, So I got my bike computer and downloaded data for the last two days. Adding 53 miles for 200 out of 300.

    @anaconda469 - I would imagine that the guy steering the thing has a lot to do with how much puking is going on. :smile:

    DH had hip surgery yesterday so Monday and Tuesday I spent sticking close to him and nothing more. Today Bean and I went for a fast walk. It was great. He's learning when he can investigate the surrounding landscape and when grandma is on a serious walk. DH is home now and recovering well.

    Mon - 2.10 miles
    Tues - 1.56 miles
    Wed - 8.37 miles

    Thank you! At 9pm tonight, we still had a dewpoint of 70 and 89% humidity! I can't wait for it to break....for BOTH of us!! :smile:

    I got a long warm Charity Lunch Walk in of 3.5 miles and then a shorter 1.2 mile treadmill walk this evening after lifting weights.
