Adding another 16 miles for 216 out of 300.
@kar328 - Congradulations on the PR.
@Lovemyalex - I'm surprised you're doing that much already.
@anaconda469 - If you aren't patient, you will be a patient. Sit down, relax and heal! When you're relaxed, got for a nice easy walk, then sit down, relax and heal! That's an order from the doctor.
I am working real hard every day... I want this so very much...0 -

Back on the bike today for my once/week ride, as it's turning out to be right now. That puts me back into the blue. the blue. green is a far off distant unachievable color, I'm afraid.

WAY TO GOAL, @KAR328!!!! :drinker: :drinker: Would you have believed a year or more ago, that you would hit 100 miles in just a hair over HALF OF A MONTH?? That's awesome!!
@SCARFE9991 - If you do, please take it easy and listen to your body.
@HKRISTINE1 - Good to see you getting a workout break! Don't be so hard on yourself....you're doing what you can. Everything will be alright. :flowerforyou:

Talk about me being impatient? You are killing it for just having knee replacement surgery.

Well I was very patient today, and finally broke not only the hour ride, but I did more than 10 miles. Yes Dr @sufferlandrian, I would do all of that, but I hate walking, unless I have a doggie (which I don't have at the moment) so I am trying. I do rest a lot before and after riding, and watch whilst riding for the signs of fatigue. When a hint of that starts, I head home. I just realized that I have been doing MYAC for 2 years now. My time flies when your having fun!
07/15 - 10.0 miles cycling (TdF Challenge Stage 11)
07/16 - 11.0 miles cycling (TdF Challenge Stage 12)
07/17 - 12.0 miles cycling (TdF Challenge Stage 13)
Total: 147.0 miles

@anaconda469: I agree with Dean. Rest, rest, rest. I am not allowed to bike or kayak because of my C7 pinched nerve at the scapula. No sprint triathlon for me...but I want to get better not worse. You will only acerbate your condition if you don't give it time to heal.
July 16: 5 miles of walking
July 17: 1.85 miles of shakeout running and 13 miles of easy walking and hiking
TTD: 171 miles
In case I do not log in my miles tomorrow, please keep good thoughts for me as I run my second half marathon Sunday. They were calling for thunderstorms and the temps came down a bit but I will be starting at 6:45 to beat the heat. High is going to 85 and the start temp is high 60's low 70's. At least it will be along Lake Erie so perhaps some nice lake breezes and not nasty head winds.0 -
7/17 - 1.28 mile walk
MTD - 35.44 miles0 -
-
7.63 miles walked today
86.94.6 miles walked to date
It won't be many miles tomorrow as I will be in the airport all most of the day and flying all night.0 -
I was in class all week and did not have time to move nearly enough. So, of course, I did the mature thing . I got discouraged, got mad and stopped posting. Sorry, I'll try to do better, but I'm afraid I may be too set in my ways to change. Anyway, After only managing 8.5 miles the first 4 days of the week, I had a day today that I could get a long hike in. 12 more miles today alone. That makes 73.5 miles for the month.
OK I would not have believed it, but I am less than a mile from catching up to the green. I just have to make the time to keep working on it.0 -

clepant - best of luck tomorrow!
lovemyalex - love to see the PT progressing.
I took a totally lazy rest day yesterday. I need to get back at it today.0 -
I ran my 5k and it was totally OK. Yay! Teeny bit of IT band twinges but nothing like before. And I will be more diligent about keeping up with the strength and stretch for my hips and glutes.
And no crazy milage goals for awhile! Trying to embrace getting moving other ways anyway
@dave thank you and I totally did listen to my body and did not listen to my brain which wanted to go FASTER lol. Actually I ran with a buddy and we had a great time chatting
@clepant I hope your half went well today!
@jt enjoy your rest day!
This may be silly but I'm also adding my .3 miles of swimming from the other day, I am *not* a swimmer and it took me forever so I'm counting it (esp since I need the miles this month!) plus that makes my Runkeeper which tracks all my miles and ticker equal

Thanks 20 of them are from the two cycling classes, but I have made four miles more my default walk/run. When I started this challenge, it was about 1.4 miles. Blows my little mind. And lots of credit to this group challenge.
