    8/12 - NOT 100%

I screwed up yesterday. I was out running errands and didn't eat all my breakfast before I left the house so I grabbed some protein while I was out. Then forgot about it and eat again when I got home. Didn't realize it until later in the day and then lost it and had a mini-binge last night. I was doing great and really feeling like I was in the groove.

    Hi All
I was walking this morning 2.8+ miles. I picked up my Coffee at the Quick Chek, Then went over to the Pathmark Grocery Store for Bananas and a Bag of frozen vegetables, I was not impressed by the price on the frozen vegetables, It was much higher than at the ShopRite Grocery Store. I can see why they are struggling. The selection did not impress me either.

    Have a Great Day

Thanks Nightingale and dHarris. :) It was 10 pounds lost on my scale, but that was naked and first thing in the morning, and my actual weigh in is at a clinic mid day. :D All in all, since I recommitted, I have lost 10. Not bad for a few weeks of hard work, but like Roger (hi and welcome back so glad you are here) I am losing some water reserves.

Almost weekend all. That's my hardest time, cooking for husband and wanting to go out. But I am going to make good choices and stay on plan. ;) I do feel it will be easier with time to just stay the course and not go on/off/on/off as I have done in the past.

Also, I am trying to get in bed earlier each week by moving my bedtime back slowly. I was up at 7:30 this morning, so that's an improvement!!

    Have a great day all.

    Hi nwsocal
Is there any other time or way to to get a consistent weigh from day to day? :)

Weekends are not that hard IMO. I am on a weekend schedule 7 days a week :)

If I go out to eat I look for the best choices on the menu. For Breakfast or Brunch Scrambled Egg, Canadian Bacon, No Home Fries, Dry Rye Toast and eat on slice, a fresh fruit cup.
    Egg = PF
1Slice of the Canadian Bacon, The rest goes home = a PF, My Diner a slice is one ounce.
Dry Rye Toast as a SC
Fresh Fruit Cup as a SC
And that meets my NS plans requirements.
Lunch or Dinjner is easy for me, I have simple tastes.
Open faced Turkey Sandwich = PF, Gravy on the Side (do not use or very lightly), Eat some take the rest home.
    Salad w/no dressing = vegetable
Green beans or Broccoli or other On Plan vegetables = Vegetable portion(s)
1 Slice of the bread from under the Turkey as a SC, Ask for Whole Wheat or Rye
Fresh Fruit Cup as a Dessert
I try and avoid the gravy as I know it is high sodium, As are any of the soups.

    Good Luck

    Hi All
I went walking this morning, 2.75 miles. So far the days weather is OK, Humidity is starting to rise and temperatures are going up. It was comfortable however as I was out before the sun came up and home before it had much heat to it.

Then I Loaded the car and We made the recycle run with Shredded Paper, Shredded DVDs etc. More stuff to shred now that I have a new shredder replacing the Dead one. Why Shred DVDs? They have old data backups on them or Software that was bought over the internet and saved with the Product Key Email.

    Have a great Weekend

    Hi Ginny
Even with the best intentions I can slip up. sometimes I taste something just to see if it is as good as I remember. I tried a taste of soup from the Diner a while ago. Cream of Chicken, All I could taste was the Saltiness. I remember thinking I used to like this? I checked with my Brother who had the same soup and to him it tasted fine.

    Cheers

I'm here, Roger. Been busy! Congratulations on 2.5 pounds loss!!

Well, I gained 6 pounds on my travels. BUT, have lost 5 of it, so I'm happy about that. I'm only 1 pound over my last WI.

Still kinda worn out and hoping that this week will bring nothing but stay at home and work. Nothing else. Period. I can definitely live with that. :)

    Hi All
I was out walking today another 2.85 Miles and 19 cents :) Humidity and Temperatures are up today and going higher as the week progresses, If You want to consider getting more humid and warmer progress :)
I have finished Breakfast and am working on my water.

I lucked out getting my McDs coffee. They locked up after me due to computer problems. I suspect I got mine as I keep exact change on hand for the coffee. $1.07

Walking back home I saw a Blue Egret fishing in the brook, I do not know if it is the same one I have seen in a different brook or the same one moved to a different location.

    Have a Great Monday

    Hi Ginny
Congratulations on breaking into Onederland rdb.gif
I can't wait to do the same, Soon I hope.

I hope the Knee problem goes away quickly. Be careful not to overdo it and delay the healing. OTOH You got the back yard mowed. My Brother is muttering he might mow today or tomorrow as it is not looking that bad with the summer weather having slowed the growth of the lawn. I mowed the last time over a week ago, so his turn this time.

    Have a Good Week

    Hi dharris
I hope You spoke sharply to Mr. Scale :)

Good Luck for the upcoming week
    RogerToo

P.S. & FWIW I suspect part of last weeks loss might be due to my changing up my midmorning snack, a PF & a SC from breakfast entrees to Chicken Breast and 1/2 a "Flatout Flatbread Light original 100% Whole Wheat" @ 90 calories a slice and some light mayo as a rollup sandwich. Since the flatbread is an oval 7" by 9.5" so a 1/2 is still a 7" by 4.75" and works well. Then I use another partial PF to finish the PF part of that snack.

100% 8/16 My knee is better but its a temporary thing....I am debating doing a total or partial knee vs doing something else...stem cell therapy. Hmmm...what to do. At least I don't have to do anything about it today or this week or even this month. Thanks for the thoughts and on breaking into onederland..I just didn't think about it because its so very little in...

    Hi all
Walked today despite the Higher temperatures and Humidity, 2.8 miles approx, & 1Cent. I was out the door at 5:1, The rain had stopped,it was fairly cool and everything was wet with puddles here and there, By the time I got home the streets were drying and the humidity was at a uncomfortable level.

    Have a Great Tuesday

WI will be tomorrow. My scale hasn't dropped despite being perfect "not a lick" all week and kicking butt on my fitbit. We were also camping Friday-Sunday. I cut out soda this week as well. I'm really proud of myself regardless, but I'm dreading weigh in tomorrow and my coach will be looking at me like I'm fibbing. Oh well.
