    Walked w/DH and Bean this morning. Low clouds, just the right temp. Supposed to rain tomorrow. Not sure I remember what that is.

    Thanks to my new Nazi therapist, I'm up to almost 30 miles :D
    He had me in therapy for four hours yesterday! I love him(despite the torture)! He is going to get me back to where I was before!

    Got in 6 miles walking in the city last night and this morning. Really fun girls evening with dinner and a Broadway show.

    @Clepant - Shocking story. I'm so sorry. Yes that would put a sad cloud on the event. But I agree with Dave - none of us know how many years we'll be given and perhaps running had increased or improved those he had. Hang in there.

    @You can do it Kar. It is a great goal! Try Galloway method...it helped me get started and saved my knee on my race on Sunday on mile 8 to 9.5.

    @CLEPANT - So sorry to hear that! My thoughts go out to all affected. That is really hard when that happens, but you're right in that he was doing something he loved. And who knows, his active lifestyle may have already added years to his life that he might not have had otherwise.

    Hi Friends. I'm sorry I have been missing this month, I need to somehow get my life back in order. I'm starting to realize I Need this group to keep my life in perspective and my health going the right direction. It's too late for me to salvage October, but I will do better in November. (And yes, I will finish out October with some moving also)

    Added 15.5 miles for an October total of 46.75 miles

    17.3 miles today, 12.8 in cycling class, then with the heavy rain and late hour, I was forced to use the treadmill (went to the gym twice in one day - me!), ran/walk 3 miles, the sun had come out part way through, and I wasn't at 10K steps yet, so I went home and did 1.5 around the lake. And I did a TRX class today too. I think I'm done for the day.

    Walked w/DH and Bean this morning then got on the recumbent then went to 1st grade then went to the gym w/DDD and met up w/our trainer for an hour. A good day!
