    125/100 I walked 2 more miles this afternoon after lunch. It is dark in the park...in fact the park is not even open. My son use to walk with me but he now goes to the gym. So far I feel safe. I arrive around 5:30 am and by the time the sunrises a jogger or two may arrive. I rarely see anyone. It is great to have the entire place to myself especially since I am singing my heart out while I am walking. LOL

    Thursdays are supposed to be my rest days, but the leaves smell so good and it is such a beautiful fall cool crisp day that I just had to go out for a brisk walk in my neighborhood. I came home to my new Leslie video in the mailbox that I am anxious to try, Just Walk: Walking off the Pounds.

    wow, ladies, well done! I was super busy these days. My kids have holidays and are home, so not much time for posting here.

    Anyway I got some walks in (doing Leslie walks and watching vampire diaries, haha) and went swimming yesterday with the kids :-) Have to check my numbers and get them posted later.

    @coopsoopc sorry to read about your mom! It must be hard to have this kind of responsibility.
    *hug* For the groceries though I usually go a couple of times a week, so it´s doable. I have two sidebags for my bike and a backpack, so it´s alright :-) I could wait until my husbands gets home with the kids and do it then, but I prefer to use this to be more active.

    @zichab Yes, it´s getting cheaper and cheaper with the flights. It used to be more expensive, but now easyjet flies to italy and it´s under 100€ for my husband back and forth.

    It´s really great that we have the technology to be able to at least chat face to face. I remember times, when it was very expensive just to call another city oO

    Dad is home. He still has a lot of pt/ ot & st but he will get there. Mom is staying with him but he doesn't drive so I am the elected one to take him to his appts and stuff. It is hard but I am doing it. Still trying to make time for me, some days are harder then others but I am determined to make my goal this month!

    Bandit It is important to take care of you at this time since your parents are depending on you. I know it can be hard, but you need to recharge as well when you have the added responsibility of caring for parents. Pace yourself OK?     Neonbeige Oh my gosh, without Face Time and Skype, I am not sure if my son would have even accepted the position at Leiden. When he went to college in Iowa in 1998, it was like he was a missing person! We lived in New York and Iowa was 18 hours away. We could not exactly run out to visit him for dinner! We had email at the time, but it was so hard being so far apart when we had been together every day for 18 years. Believe it or not, Netherlands has been easier because I can call him on Face Time and see his lovable face and hear his voice. It's a global workplace now and I am sure we are not the only ones with family all over the globe.

    Oh my gosh Pinky walking at 5:30 AM??? Bless you-I am not even standing erect at that hour of the day much less walking. :laugh: I admire your dedication! It is beautiful to walk outside though now as the leaves make that crunching sound underfoot and they smell delightful! Enjoy the wonderful sounds and smells of fall!

    Bandit- like Zichab said, the "colors" walk is Ultimate 5 Day Walk Plan. It is five different miles that're color coded-
    blue, yellow, green, red and purple-plus warm up, cool down and short toning routines you can add to your workout. Leslie has a preprogrammed workout ready to go for you, or you can use the menu list to customize your own plan. It's 15 miles total, and the difference between this and Miracle Miles(besides price-MM is pretty pricey at $49 on Leslie's site) is that the focus here is walking, not so much toning. MM features a new looped fitness band and toning in EVERY mile. U5DWP is $8.99 on Amazon-I just checked. Hope this helps.

    I'm on restriction(explain later, once I calm down), am only allowed to do 20 minutes a day for the forseeable future. I did warm up and blue mile(my usual) today.

    Review of Just Walk: Walking off the Pounds-3 miles This a new DVD and it is not as well done as some of her other ones. She forgets to cue, she loses her beat and she spends a lot of time chatting. However, the biggest problem is that it takes a lot of space. She is doing 8 count walks and 4 sets of side steps. I was glad I chose my wide living room for the debut of this one as my family room is way to narrow. If you are confined to a small space, skip this one as there is nothing here you do not already have. The Bonus abs and back segment is also a basic repeat of Firm 30 so if you have that one, you have this one as well. She adds a plank at the end, which I suspect most of us already add to Firm 30. All in all, it is a nice 3 mile for my collection but I probably will not use it a whole lot.

    Sue Actually, I am catching up as I have been behind all month! My husband is at our other house taking his boats out of the water so I can work out without being interrupted! Woo Hoo!!! I need to get the miles in before he gets back home next week. I'm getting old Sue and I have a birthday coming up so I have to keep moving! You know what they say "Move it lose it!" :laugh: I was sorry to hear that you have been restricted, but there must be some concern for you so do what you are allowed to do with a smile OK? We are all just happy that you are back! :smile:

    zichab, thank you for the review. 8 count walks and 4 count side steps; you would almost need a ball room for that. One to skip for me at least. Not that I haven't sent at least one of her kids to collage already from all the walks I've bought. :p You are closing in on that goal. Awesome work.

    same side to side so it's not worth it at this point. The fact that she's missing cues isn't encouraging either. Ann, I
    LOVED what you said about putting Leslie's kids through college-too true. It's too bad we can't take it as a tax deduction!!! :)
