We are into a new year. 2016! Lets see if we can end January with less baggage than we started with. Everyone put in how much you want to lose this month and where you started also. List a goal, it can be completing your workouts, giving up or cutting back on a favorite food or beverage. But lets get started!

Happy New Year!

I am at 151.2 to start. Would like to revisit 148 this month. And continue to work out at least 5 days each week. Some mini goals would be to increase my weights during my workouts.

I was astonished this morning. 150.2. Now how did I lose a pound yesterday? I was not very good. I did get in a fast paced walk. But also ate some chocolate. Chris I love your resolve of no junk. I must cut down on it first. Weed the crap out!

Happy New Year. I was 200.4 this morning. Not quite out of the 200s but the closest I've been in a while. I have a couple of goals for January. No alcohol, increasing my workouts to 5 days a week and getting the craving under control.

Thank you ladies for helping me on this journey. I'm with you Shelley and Chris...the crappy food must go!

    Let's do this!!!

THE HOLIDAYS ARE OVER. STOP EATING LIKE THEY'RE NOT!

Shelley and Kathy...crap weeding we shall go!!

Kathy, we help each other every single day. I love that we stick together even when we are having issues. Thank you for being here too.

I was 140.4 this morning...ugh! But we had a nice time with DDD, SIL and Bean last night. I did have one beer...bwhahahah...I'm such a drinker these days!

NO JUNK FOOD FOR ME! NO JUNK FOOD FOR ME! NO JUNK FOOD FOR ME! NO JUNK FOOD FOR ME!

    I'll be back.

Oh man, Chris, I would so love your ugh. And Shelley, I don't know what's real or isn't anymore. Up to 166 down to 162 up to 166.5 down to 165.5 - What??? :noway:

Crap is not my problem. But only because you'all helped get the cashews and junk out of the house. - Otherwise it would be much worse.

But it is too much good stuff which is doing me in. Must do smaller portions! REMEMBER REMEMBER REMEMBER! NO! It is NOT all right to keep eating it just because it is good food. No No No! Sneaky mental deamon who whispers this, big fat liar is!

And, with you, Kathy, must get moving again. They say muscle loss is dangerous at my age - which my head knows but my lazy a.r.s.e ignores.

Let's start at 166 (wild guess). Eventually want to reach Chris's Ugh. But for January, staying in the 150's would be a success.

Kathy congratulations! That is so wonderful! So exciting for you. o:) You are so going to make onederland. You give me inspiration. Yes yes yes!

Chris I want your ugh! But since you do not, more exercise for you my friend!

And Paula I to am an expert at lying to myself. One more will not hurt. Who am I kidding? And muscle mass is harder to regain every year. Ok sister dearest get that lazy *kitten* of yours moving again. On your bike, do your KCM DVD workouts and lift larger dumbbells.

I want to get into and stay in the 140's this month!

Thanks you guys!! 140 on me is not pretty...trust me...

Paula I sent all the good stuff home w/the kids! I am battling the nuts though. My DH eats them...he's always had them in the house...why all of a sudden is my brain consumed with the desire to eat a bunch of them? Egad! But I'm okay right now.

I want to get to 130. This morning 139.6. Let's see what I can do in January.

I hope you all have a fab Sunday!!

127.5 lbs. want to lose a pound. I'm at my goal weight but want to tone up.

I just realized some of you may be, what does she mean 127.5, remember that I am very petite, 4 ft 10ish, so 126 is better for me and 125 is even better, and it's all relative. I find it quite difficult to lose 1 to 5 pounds but I know I would be healthier if I did. So 2016 is the year for us all to lose, whatever we need to lose!

Clara, I know exactly what you mean. The fewer pounds I have to lose the harder it is. We'll get there!!

    Have a great Monday!

I'm up a pound too. It's that silly one that hits 166 - living there much too often - afraid it's going to start feeling real.

Clara - I know what you mean, but in reverse. Most people probably feel 166 is high, but I'm 5'9" and it looks normal on me.

    Chris, enjoy first grade

    Have a great day!

We have some pretty heavy rain at the moment. We'll have to see how the morning goes. Don't see s walking in that. I'll get the bike done for sure. Might have to jump on the treadmill...ugh...not my favorite, but I'll do it.

    166.5 this morning
    That's "Point FIVE"!
    Haven't weighed that in years!

Found myself reaching for candy at work, remembering the fright, and drawing back. My brain said "hmmm..." while walking by fresh bread at store, but then fright jumped in and made me scurry away. My favorite cookies sat at the checkout stand and brain ogled them saying "maybe just a.." but was rudely interrupted by fright who screamed "NO!"

And Chris, I don't play with my Play Doh. My Play Doh are just fine the way they are.

It's my rocks that intrigue me. Little ones, big ones, sparkly like little gems (actually they are gems... albeit semiprecious) double-terminated crystals and cavernous geodes and all the colors you can imagine. Mother Nature grows some amazing creatures. :sunglasses:

You are all to funny. Sounds like you are all moving in the right direction. I am avoiding the scale until.....Monday. Paula I have some pretty awesome mother nature rocks. I have a large one covered in garnets. And one slightly larger than my head that weighs next to nothing. And a petrified piece of a log. Anyway lets keep plugging away ladies.

You ladies are too funny. I just caught up with your latest posts. Shelley I'm weighing in on Monday as well...scale avoidance...yep. Yesterday, I had a half sub sandwich & chips from Publix. I know the sodium is going to show on the scale. And yes I have my pre-made food at home...what was I thinking. :(

I did have a 90 minute tennis practice this evening and 8,396 steps for 3.34 miles. Today I did eat my grilled chicken, roasted veggies and brown rice bowl.

Thanks Chris, luck to your weigh in also. And no trigger foods!

Kathy I so could not go to a place called Publix! Lol It just sounds to much like something else. Try that thought. You might be screwing up your face and not eating there again. ;) I was reading this email, Eat This Not That. It was good. I will find it for you tomorrow. You might find something worth using. Glad to hear you are still making healthy meals. :drinker:

There were bagels in the work kitchen today. Bagels do not have dairy in them (usually) so no allergy to trigger an aversion. No aversion = extreme attraction. I fought hard and didn't even have a small piece. I heard somebody say "bread" and swear I started walking into the kitchen. It took a minute to realize what was happening and another moment to fight it off.

    Hard!

Thank you so much for you amazing supportive sisters!

Good job, Paula! I'm so glad I don't have those temptations anymore.

This is right on...Dear Stomach, you're bored, not hungry - SO SHUT UP!!

My weigh in was disappointing, but I'm not giving up. I've worked too hard, so I decided today was a fluke.

    It's my REST DAY.

    Tomorrow my friends.
