    My January goal was to get off my insulin all together. I was using just 17% of my normal daily dosage at the beginning of the month. Though I haven't kicked it all together, I'm down to just 8% of my pre-keto dosage.

    I had planned on using exercise as a tool to reduce my insulin further, but I didn't make it to the gym much. That reduction was just from consistent diet alone. Serious work stress got in my way, so I decided to just focus on keeping my eating habits on track and not reverting to my normal way of coping with stress - shoveling food in my mouth. THIS month, I'm going to start a regular walking program at the gym! (I have weak knees, so it's easier and safer for me to walk on a treadmill).
