@Dean: I miss CX skiing. Never enough snow here unless I go east to the mountains. Will go to our local park or golf courses but we just have had so little snow this year. I got in one day of snow shoeing. As far as the foot goes, I hope it is some tendinitis. I am training for another half for May and it is going to be tough with that nagging me.
Feb.5: 8.5 miles today. Not as much moving today as I am feeling a bit run down from a demanding work week. But hopefully a long run tomorrow. Walking for 7 with 1.5 of running and some jumping rope thrown in for good measure.

Adding another 6 miles on the XC skis. That's 31 out of 150.
Adding another 3 miles on the XC skis. Skate skiing is TOUGH! I guess I just need more practice. That makes 34 out of 150.
6 more miles on the hamster wheel. That's 40 out of 150.0 -
5 miles done
10 miles total walked
40 miles to goal
Oh my ,these walking miles are much tougher for me to get in ... The bike was easier to stop by the gym and hop on for 15 min.....walking takes more planning....which I am not good at, apparently. lol
Thanks!0 -

4.2 miles. Ran into an older couple with two mini Collies, I've ran into them before, the dogs are great to pet, and fun to watch run around. The woman is just out walking after having had half her lung removed exactly two weeks ago for a cancerous nodule. She looks great. It's a great reinforcement of why I go out and walk/run, I"m not getting any younger and seeing all the seniors in the next subdivsion out there every day sets a great example.

Okay, upping my goal again, because I had an incredible 2 days of activity!
Friday- 9.73 miles Run/ walk
Saturday Morning- 2.34 miles run/ walk
Saturday Afternoon- 30.32 miles bike ride
Tomorrow I have no plans for anything other than watching the Super Bowl and getting things ready for Monday's surgery.0 -
20 miles on the ex bike after my day of house cleaning & of course laundry. I thought I might walk outside with the furries but the wind was 45 mph & higher at times. After today there is very little snow (which is awesome to me).
My ticker will not update but my total is 71.

5th: 2 miles purposeful walking, - MTD
6th: 4.7 miles purposeful walking with DH, 2.3 m run round the block - MTD 29.35
Done day up to 5 on C25k - with a running club, hopefully slow and measured will see me past the point where I normally get an injury (Achilles, Soleus, Gastrocnemius - they queue up!!). It's usually a couple of months in, when I'm comfortable and happy and beginning to push beyond 3 miles!!
ETA @Just_Ceci -enjoy Super Bowl and best wishes for a good outcome and speedy recovery with your surgery.0 -
