Yes I am a real person with a real family and really whiny little kids lol. Today was pretty rough lots of meltdowns and my littlest passed out. So I sent the wife and my oldest to the pool for some kid free time so my wife does not murder me.

Is your little one okay now? That's nice of you to give your wife a break.

The store was selling bags of twelve SUGARFREE chocolates for 99 cents. I bought them, and just ate eight (my husband ate the others). I cannot believe this...my stomach is getting all rumbly and stuff. I've heard this SO MANY TIMES about sugar free candy and have NEVER experienced it, and I have binged on it before. And eight pieces of sugarfree chocolate definitely doesn't constitute a binge for me. I thought I was invincible! I didn't think I would suffer the consequences! Oh god why me?! I'm hoping my stomach is just being weird temporarily and that it'll pass...

More importantly, I haven't binged since Friday. I don't want to make the usual declaration that "I think this bingeing cycle may be over," but I sure hope that it is winding down and coming to an end.

TMI: I am definitely not invincible. I am shocked that eight small pieces could have such an immediate effect. I do not have a sensitive stomach and I have a history of intense laxative abuse as well (not anymore). Well apparently 56 grams of sugar free Hershey's can do more damage than a whole box of ex lax. On the upside, I'm sure my weight will be (deceptively) low tomorrow.

I had 4 good days last week and then had 5 bad days in a row. Up 13 pounds from Saturday which is absolutely disgusting. I've said it before but I'll say it again now, I just can't keep food in my dorm. I'd be better off skipping meals than keeping stuff in my room

Why?!?! Why?!?! Why?!?! Don't say you weren't warned. Sugar free is bad news.

@daniellethesheep Dorm life is hard on diet. Easy access to so much food and most of it is junk. Unfortunately in my experience, ridding the house of trigger food doesn't help me. There will always be a way to get my hands on it if I'm desperate enough. I hope you are able to get a handle on things soon. I know you are struggling really bad.

I feel your pain. A couple of weeks ago, I had an amazing week where I vines only one day. The following week I binged every day. It's so hard to find balance. You exercise so much. Have you considered upping your calorie goal significantly (even if it seems outrageous?) I'm pretty sedentary right now and I met with a nutritionist who had me more than double my calorie goal.

Everyone should google sugar free gummy bears review from Amazon. Use that as a warning about overeating sugar free candies.

Just stopping by to check in. Yesterday was a very stressful day - started out when I accidently put my 47lb dog's flea/heartworm medicine on the 9lb cat instead of HER flea medicine - and then the gas company turned off the wrong meter when they came out to turn off the gas of the garage apartment behind my house and it took them 9 hours to come back and turn it back on when I realized what they had done!! Needless to say, yesterday could have gone horribly wrong for my eating but I managed to keep it under control. Actually, it still went horribly wrong, I was actually too stressed to eat much at all yesterday and only hit like 900 hundred calories total for the day. MFP said "you are eating too few calories....." when I hit Complete this entry at the end of the day! LOL. Just thought I'd share by bad luck day. Hope everyone else has better days. :-)

The sad thing I've done this multiple times. I just have never experienced it for myself...until now.

Well crap @gbread2u0169! How's the cat?

I'm feeling great, but I am beginning to feel like binging. Oddly, I am not craving sugar. I want....I don't know what I want. I just want to eat. But, I got on the scale today, and it was at 205. Also, I've been binge peeing. Doing low carb, you are encouraged to achieve a state known as "ketosis". They sell these strip that you pee on called ketostix. The little strip will change color according to the amount of ketones in you urine. I bought some, so now every time I pee, I pee on a stick. Yes, I obsess. When I found out I was pregnant, I bought hundreds of dollars worth of pee tests just to be sure. Anyway, these sticks are notoriously unreliable, and if my pee stick isn't the right color, I lose my chit over it.

Once all fifty of these sticks is gone, I won't buy any more. It may be better if I just don't know.

I'm having a rough day. Not food wise but mentally draining. Had our second appointment at the fertility specialist and things weren't super encouraging. My husband's side of things is great so the problem definitely lies with me, which we pretty much knew since I haven't ovulated in 8 months (sorry if that's TMI) Of course I had to tell them that I have an eating disorder and he explained how it's probably not helping things.

I am very lucky when it comes to binging on sugar free candy.

I ate a lot before a movie during a diet attempt and just threw up.

Today has been really nice. Krogers had an ice cream I really wanted, and I'm finally back to my lowest weight after the Easter binge, 158.

I'm really not sure if it matters at all if you know if you're in ketosis. As far as I'm concerned, when it comes to Low Carb, if you're losing weight, it's working. And if you're doing it for the added benefit of anti-binging, and that's working... then, the color on the stick is kinda irrelevant. But, I suspect if I tell you to chill out... you'll direct some kind of sloth-finding weapon in my direction.

Just started bingeing then stopped after only about 750 binge related calories! I seriously think this bingeing cycle may finally be coming to an end.

I did end up having another minor episode that felt like a binge, but I stopped at about 1600 calories so I am extremely happy about that. And it was VERY short, which is unusual. I hope everyone has a good day today!

Also Msty, I'm sorry to hear about your day a couple of days ago. That does sound very mentally draining. Don't beat yourself up though!

Yesterday was a rough day for me. It started out with me not feeling well and calling in sick to work. Then at about 11:00 my boss texts me, telling me that a project I had been helping with needs to be done THIS WEEK and they escalated it to the VP and everyone was freaking out because they were so behind on the project. Welp, I had to suck it up and drive into work to help them with the project. I was extremely p*ssed off about it and spent the entire day an a state of anxiety. I even missed my lunch workout and was worried I wouldn't get to exercise at all because it was looking like I'd have to stay late in the office. But because I am awesome, I cranked out a huge chunk of the project in the 5 hours I was there, and was able to leave with enough time to get to the gym before it closed.

So I at least got a workout in, and that helped a bit with the anxiety and anger, but the thing is I wound up only eating 1200 calories for the day. I blame the anxiety for giving me a lack of appetite.

I did end up bingeing again yesterday but it was the smallest episode I've had in forever. Only 1600 calories, I'll take it!

Respectthekitty, I'm sorry you had such a stressful day. I hope that today was better. Also, it awesome that you didn't binge yesterday despite the stress!

@ab6046 I am pretty shocked I didn't want to binge last night. Then again, I was pretty wiped out so I slept like a rock, which always helps.

Today wasn't much better at work. The lead on the project was conveniently not in the office today, and left a half-finished school with over 300 students still left to process, all for lil ol' me to do, how nice of her! It took me pretty much all day to finish that one school, but luckily that was the last school on the list so the project is FINISHED, darn it, and it's because I'm all kinds of awesome.

Did c25k week 1 day 3 today on lunch, and tacked on an extra half mile because I was feeling like RUNNING. But I forgot to bring lunch to work so I had to buy a sandwich from the deli (OH NO, HOW MANY CALORIES DOES THIS THING HAVE), and I also forgot to bring clean socks so I am now shuffling through the rest of the day in sweaty gym socks. You're welcome, co-workers.

4 days binge free. Today will be 5, which is usually my max. I don't know what it is, I can go 5 days no problem, but then on day 6 I lose all willpower. So I guess I'll have to be extra careful tomorrow. In fact, I have the most predictable binge pattern ever (Sunday is always day 6 and I binge terribly, which bleeds into Monday, and then I "start over" on Tuesday, and the whole cycle repeats itself). This week I managed to not binge on Monday, so this weekend will be weird as "day 6" is hitting on a Saturday rather than a Sunday. Maybe that will help?
