Hahaha those look awesome! I really like the Quaker Apples and Cinnamon flavour. But I want 2 packages minimum WITH milk (soy milk) to feel like it was worth it. 3 packages would be wonderful... but one packet never does much haha.

I have a really big appetite. I can out eat my husband in a given sitting quite significantly.

Like I will make dinner, give us the same portions.. he gets 3/4 way through and is stuffed (though will snack later usually) and I get all the way through and am just ok in terms of fullness - but I only stop because calories. I would happily eat another full portion hahah.

I probably should have gotten into the eating contest business LOL except I am kind of a slow eater.

@puffbrat haha grab two boxes!!! (I only grabbed one and I'm regretting it!) and You're welcome! :)

@VeryKatie The oatmeal usually holds me over for at least 4 hours, but has gone as long as 6. I usually have two packets. I've been having it over the week and have yet to get a packet that is the exact serving size (50g) I'm seeing anywhere from 53-56 grams per packet. Makes me love my food scale even more haha

Oh!! I love apples and cinnamon too! I pretty much just love oatmeal haha but my favorite is definitely brown sugar (and of course it's even more awesome with dinosaur eggs haha) but we have a ton of plain in the pantry so I'm going to start tackling that after this box is gone and start adding my own stuff to it.

haha well you could always enter a contest just to see :P

You can do it @WifiresGettingFit ! Is there something you're struggling with specifically today or for the upcoming weekend?

I struggled today too. I managed to push through and get an exercise done. Not the one I planned, but one nonetheless.

Tomorrow hopefully will be ok, but I basically have a Thanksgiving type meal coming on Sunday. So that day will be hard.

This weekend was a failure for me. I did exercise Friday and Sunday, but all three days I went over my calories and ate more junk food than intended. At least it all tasted really good...

Alright! I stayed approximately under my goals this weekend. Didn't quite meet my exercise goal for the week but I was close. New week coming up!

I failed again last night. I went over my calories and didn't exercise. But I did generally eat better.

Does anyone have any ideas for a weekly challenge for this week? I'd call this my "I really have to try week".

Maybe we could do a "cook your dinners" week? If you already have a dinner out planned, cook an extra lunch. Depends if people find that useful.

Or we could do a meal planning week and post the number of times out of 14 meals (say 2 a day) that we stuck with the plan.

I like the meal planning idea. People could focus on the meals where they are most likely to go off plan. For me that is dessert, where I often eat more than planned or eat it when it wasn't planned.

I'm thinking about giving my current challenge (exercise at least 4 times a week and being at/under calorie goal each day) another week...only with it being more successful.

I wouldn't really find the cooking aspect helpful - only because my boyfriend and I already eat at home mostly with the exception of our date night and occasional breakfast out on the weekend when we wake up late and with the meal planning - I'm to indecisive/change my mind to often for that to work for me but I still like the idea as it sounds interesting and it might be helpful to others.

As far as ideas of my own, I don't currently have any...I'll think on it though.

Sticking with last week's goals - yesterday was a success. I stayed within my calorie goal, generally ate better, and went for a walk. Yay!

    @puffbrat Thank you!

I'm really trying hard to stay on a sustainable track.
Having to lose a couple pounds again really put things into perspective for me.

I hear you on the losing the same pounds again. I'm in the same spot I was a month ago, oh wait, nope! Up 2 lbs from a month ago (had a new low on Valentines day morning, and havent seen it since!) If only I had stuck to plan... >.<
    Onward and upwards, I suppose.
I am loving the longer days here, and plan to move my butt more when I get home from work.

@Kirstie155 Yeah, having to lose some pounds over again really sucks. That's been more motivation to stay on track and if I happen to go over, I try to stay around maintenance so at least I'm not gaining. I don't want it to become a habit and then keep gaining and losing the same pounds over and over again. I want to reach my goal so I've been keeping that in mind and so far, it's helping.

@VeryKatie At least we all know we aren't alone. :)

My official report from yesterday: I ran out of time to get my workout in but I was around maintenance calories since things didn't go as planned (when does it?) so I still consider it a success.

Today is date night, I have it pre-planned so it better go as planned and I plan on getting some extra exercise in as well.

Official report for yesterday: I didn't work out but I was only about 23 calories over my goal which isn't terrible, still consider my day a success. I plan on exercising the next 3 days so will report back later.

I'm not sure the rest of us decided what our weekly challenge will be haha.

So I'm just going to pick something - more of a one day challenge if you so choose to join in!

Pick a day this week to do meal planning/prep! Post when you're done :)
    Mine will be Saturday.

I always do meal prep on Sundays. My hubs and my work schedules that are off by a few hours, and with our commutes he doesn't get home until sometimes 8pm. So I eat dinner alone, and of course breakfast and lunches during the week, obviously.

So what I do is cook a whole chicken, grill a bunch of chops, make a pot of chili, ect and portion out for most of the week. We do left overs for lunch and usually dinner. I usually fry a few eggs for breakfast, and he drinks protein shakes in the morning.
Sometimes by Friday we are lacking on leftovers, so things like cooked chicken sausage (my lunch today) are easy to grab and heat with no prep, so is bagged salad with a can of tuna. Sometimes we get a free lunch thrown in at work, ect.

I don't cook everyday, and its just me in the evenings-so there is no need. For the last 2 nights I reheated some leftover eggplant and fried 2 eggs. Takes 5 minutes and its dinner! :)

Anyway, that was my way of saying I do meal prep pretty much every Sunday.

This coming week I am hoping to get outside and play in the dirt...you know, gardening! I have spent the last few evenings out there since daylight savings, and am trying to get lots of things done around the yard. This is our first spring in our house!
Gardening can be quite strenuous, so I'm counting that as my exercise. Don't believe me? Try lugging 30lb stones into a garden bed! ;)

This is our first spring in our house too! I am terrible at keeping plants alive, but I help my husband with the other parts like lugging bricks and spreading a few hundred pounds of gravel. I'm actually hoping he won't recruit me for landscaping this weekend because I would like for us to go hiking and I want to go to the gym on Sunday.

I would like to do meal prep on Sunday. Dinners are not an issue, but I always leave my prep for breakfasts and lunches for the week until the last minute, and then either don't do it all which makes me sad for leaving ingredients out (no apples in my oatmeal this week) or annoyed with myself that I have to frantically do it in the morning while trying to leave.

Bah, it's still winter here. It'll be a month before any gardening might even take place. First on the list is a fence and grass though haha.

Had a bad weekend guys. My hubby blacked out and fell, hurt himself pretty badly and took a trip to the ER on Saturday. It was really scary. Since he was feeling awful we ordered pizza and ice cream. I continued to stress eat and didn't even bother to log on Sunday.

We aren't sure what caused the blackout, all tests came back normal. Right now we are just trying to manage his pain because he hit his head, back and behind very hard when he fell :'(

I probably wont be logging much this week, but am still here.
