"Orange"-Monday.....I will have Orange Peppers in my salad today! Not very original. LOL!
I have thought about the fitness challenge and I am going to do 20 Monkey F*&Kers tonight. Sorry that is what my personal trainer use to call them when I went to him. LOL! It is an exercise when you grab your ankles and then squat up and down??? I HATE them! Oh my! I just googled it to find real name and that is what they are called. Too funny! I will try to increase the number each day.

Everyone did super good this week! Way to go team!!
@EmilyM8705 that is so great your husband is on board to diet with you. It helps so much to have that support. It is so hard when you don't.
@jennjenn5555 I am also in perimenopause it is sooooo hard to lose each and every pound and when I have my cycle I gain like 5 lbs I get so bloated and so bitchy! Just keep keeping on and eventually it has to come off. That is what I am telling myself. Measuring helps...the scale doesn't always reflect your effort but measuring does.
Today I am going to stay under my calorie goal, go to the gym after work for an hour and not eat after 7 P.M. I feel good for a Monday. Hope you all have a great Monday also!0 -

But my husband has never been interested in wanting to lose weight or anything and out of the blue he says he will do it as long as I plan the meals. I'm good with that. As for getting him to excercise...that's a whole different story, but at least we can start with his diet.
Yay, that's very cool! My husband is so not into in eating healthy, he's better now than though than when I first started MFP.0 -
Yesterday, I did spend 15 mins running increasing my speed, so tomorrow I will increase it to 20 mins. Today, I'm going to try and hit a Body Works class, this morning!0

I used a different app before I found MFP where the exercise and food calories were tracked in seperate areas.
Is there any way to disable the exercise calories on here?0 -

On the mobile app go under "more" (on iPhone its in the bottom right of the screen next to progress)
then go to "goals"
then scroll to the bottom and under fitness goals go into "exercise calories".
You can turn off the exercise calories there.
Hope this helps. I haven't had my coffee yet so my brains a little fuzzy.1 -

Thank you for the info. I have the free app and it won't let me disable it. It will be okay though. I am just not going to enter any exercise.0 -
You're welcome memery7. I like seeing how many cals I burned just in case I'm feeling hungry on a day I worked out really hard. That way I know it's ok to eat a little more to help myself recover. I don't eat all the calories back though. Seems that would defeat the purpose.1

Why, why, why do I torture myself! I was at the grocery store hungry tonight (first mistake) and had to walk by the bread. Mmmmmm!!! Fresh baguettes still warm! It took everything in me to walk by, but I did.....only to cave in and go back and grab one. (second mistake). Since I've been home it's been calling my name and again I have caved and ate a large portion of it (third mistake) Grrrrr...I'm so disgusted and pissed off at myself right now!!!0

Try not to be so mad at yourself. I have started not denying myself anything because one night I craved boneless buffalo wings. I fought the craving off by eating twice the number of calories that I give myself for a day. Most of them were that night in supposedly healthier choices. I have given up buffalo sauce for the month though because of the sodium.1 -

Sun.- Yellow- fresh pineapple
Mon.- Orange- carrots
Tues.- Purple- blackberries

Thurs.- Blue- blueberries0 -
@GrandmaJackie I am on it...I have already started thinking about what I want to do for the challenges. Looking forward to seeing what EmilyM8705 comes up with for her challenges. The scale is evil I agree with you! But we are losing and not gaining so that is good! I wish I could lose faster too but I guess we just have to be patient. You would think with all the weight I have to lose I would lose faster....I remember when I was younger I could lose 5 lbs in a week. Those days are long gone. My metabolism works back ward I swear!!0
