I feel that with this week I am finally starting to get into a good groove again. I feel like I sort of lost it for about a week and a half after hitting a plateau, but them I took measurements and realized that I lost a great amount of inches. I worked out 5 days, which is a great improvement for me. I'm feeling really bored with my diet, and a friend asked if I would do 21 day fix with her. I hate to change my routine after the first week, but I need a change after the last 6 weeks.

I love the challenges this week. I am going to work more on elbow planks and mountain climbers....I loath those two excersises and they are in my daily workout, so I am going to challenge myself to do more this week.

For my fitness challenge, I'm increasing the speed for my run, today I increase it 10 mins and 5 mins per day, 3 days!

Thanks Emily!! I'm starting round 2 of 21 day fix Monday. I lost 7 lbs in round 1. Hoping to do it again :) I've been planning my meals for the past few days. Hope you give it a try. It's great. I LOVE planks. They are so challenging but they are definitely one of my top 5 favs.

I love the nutrition challenge. I have been in a rut for weeks.
Today is easy for me celery, romaine, and banana peppers.
My goal for the fitness challenge is to get to at least a 3 minute plank.

Hi Team The Big Butt Theory!

All weights have been entered for your team. Unfortunately there have been two people eliminated from the team this week, Scottbrianna19 and kwmama49 due to not submitting.

On a positive note, the team collectively has lost a total of 15.9 lbs! Well Done!!

We have a person travelling and unable to gain access to a scale. She has reported in that she will have a number for us as soon as she is home tomorrow. Once that is received winners will be announced.

    Morning Big Butt Theory,

First off @SweeteeBri, girlfriend burpees are a no no for me! Remember, I'm old and MY BODY don't move certain ways, ;):);). You can do this,

    Today's goals,
    1. Gym
    2. Hit protein & fiber goals
    3. Stay under my calorie goal (going out to dinner with friends)
    4. No late night snacking

I hate to admit it but no burpees for me for the same reason. I could see myself falling on my face the first time I watched the video of one.

[/quote I am terrible at burpees & mountain climbers. I am not tech savvy enough to post a link here but I have found some good modified versions of burpees online.

Thank you SweeteeBri & GrandmaJackie. I usually use the mobil app. I don't use the computer at home much but it is easier to navigate the message board on the desktop.

Today i MUST go grocery shopping.
Plan, prep & cook most of my meals for the week.

I don't know if I'm the only one on the team who GAINED weight during the first week but I feel really bad about it. To make matters worse I just weighed myself again today and I gained another .5 lbs. I know its because of hormones and monthly bloating blah blah blah but its still FRUSTRATING! :s Also my starting weight is 157 and I entered 156 but I thought I would lose that with no problem the 1st week. Boy was I wrong.

Ive stayed under my calories the last two days and I've been exercising so it better come off by my weigh in day which is friday!

My fitness goal is to do a proper plank for 25 seconds, my core is very weak, and increase it as much as I can by friday.

    Nutrition goal today
Yellow: Pineapple, sweet pepper (in a pineapple salsa w/rice & grilled chicken) yum!

Hope everyone has a peaceful and happy Sunday!

@jennjenn5555, sometimes the scale is our worst enemy! My problem is my cycle is so crazy and it cause a extremely slowwwwww weight loss. Keep doing what your doing, the weight WILL come off, :)

@Jennjenn5555 I'm still learning on how to post myself. I'm just hoping to maintain this week since I haven't been home since Thursday and been eating out every meal. With my husband and son chasing the snow for one last time here in upper Michigan. They wanted to go sledding, the things we do for our family. Don't fret so much about the scale, just keep doing your best.

I talked my husband into joining me in doing 21 day fix starting tomorrow. This is huge!! As to whether or not he stays with it, I really hope so. But my husband has never been interested in wanting to lose weight or anything and out of the blue he says he will do it as long as I plan the meals. I'm good with that. As for getting him to excercise...that's a whole different story, but at least we can start with his diet.

That's fantastic!! A win/win situation for both of you. I find if everyone is on the same meal plan in the house it's so much easier to stay on track and avoid the bites, licks and tastes of the bad foods while preparing meals.
