I surprisingly did not gain this week, as some of you know I've had a pretty emotional week, been in a funk. I've made a plan to exercise tonight and am hoping it shakes me out of this!

Keep up the great work you guys <3

Good stuff. I hope things are getting better for you. We aren't going to lose a bunch every week. There's no shame in holding steady for a week for sure. :)

    3/25: 182
    4/29: 170
    5/27: 162
    6/24: 154.4
    7/1: 149.2
    7/8: 148.6
    7/15 147

Dropped a pound early this week - but then two pounds a few days ago, somehow down to 145.8 (!!) then it came back up this morning.

I updated my goal weight up to 137 for this challenge this morning. My ultimate goal is still to get down to 122, but I want to work at a much slower pace after September (Slow and steady is BEST). Working at such a furious pace has been quite a ride, but I want to slow down. Mostly, I'm afraid of gaining back what I've lost.

I haven't said anything on the board much before - but this is actually my THIRD attempt at losing weight - and I'm so happy that it's been working. The previous attempts worked somewhat but I gained the weight right back (with a vengeance) after I was done -- So, do not want to go back there. I want this time to count for the long run -- So going slow will be my plan afterwards. My last attempt was in 2012 (and subsequently got breast cancer). It was a journey -- but early this year, I was finally ready to take on my weight problem for good.

britnaii22 -- Thanks so much for the challenge. I am so thankful that I saw your Challenge right after I decided to try again -- I needed to push myself harder than I pushed myself in previous attempts. So thankful for this group and this challenge!

@joannemonette1 I'm so ecstatic for you, from what I've seen in this group you've really pushed yourself and it shows in your numbers! I'm very thankful you joined this group, it continues to inspire me seeing you all crushing it!

Losing weight is hard and staying motivated is hard, having a great support system here really keeps us all going!

Keep up the great work! <3

You'll hit it. Consistency is key, keep doing it right and the loss will come.

    YOU'VE GOT THIS!!

Congrats on all you have accomplished! Good call going with what works for you and for the long term. I think part of the trick is realizing that we are never really done on this journey or whatever you want to call it. It's a never ending thing - once we hit our goals, we still need to keep at the plan to make sure we don't slip back to where we were. I don't doubt that everyone in this group will be able to do it - we've all made good progress. People have adjusted their goals to something more achievable, which is great. A lot of people, faced with not hitting the original goal, would have given up and gotten off track. Not this group - instead, people kept at it. The goal is what people are focused on, not the date, and that is awesome. I couldn't be happier for and prouder of everyone here and the progress made :)

I haven't weighed in a while. My batteries were out in my scales so I finally got some replacement batteries, and was relieved to see that I haven't gained! The weekends are still keeping me from losing more.
