Ran my first Half Marathon last weekend and got 2:13, which is slower than I trained for, but I was quite pleased with because the course was extremely hilly and i'd been battling with Plantar Fasciitis. Too bad it's winter and all the races are winding down, next summer though I plan on getting out there and hitting all the half marathons that I can!0

Shaved a full 90 seconds off my 10K time in 7 days. Posted a 45:59 on Saturday, 7 days after running a 47:35. I ran the first 10K with what I later found out was strep throat, I was running a fever and everything LOL.
9th overall and 2nd in my AG, fairly small race.
Happy to get closer to the 45min mark on my 10K time, finally got a decent run in and cleared my half marathon pace by 4 minutes. Still got room to improve yet.0 -
First half marathon 1:40:12, 5 minutes ahead of my goal!! Next year shooting for sub 1:40 = )0

Paced the 1:45 group to a 1:44:55 at the Long Beach half marathon - good times, my first time as a pace group leader.
5K in 20:45 the following weekend - was hoping for some AG hardware (smaller race) but I ended up 4th. There were 10 year age breaks and some 40 year old guy ran a 16:57!0 -

Ellsworth Air Force Base Pumpkin Run 10K
1st overall - 43:36 (PR)
Kind of a "big fish in a small pond" race, but there were a lot of known runners that showed up there. Took me about 5.5mi of negative splits to catch the lead guy, but I had plenty of gas in the tank and overtoook. I'm very pleased with myself0 -

I shaved 5:20 off of my previous PR by doing 90% of my training in slow, easy miles. Turns out y'all are right haha

Nike Women's Full Marathon, my 1st full, 4:06.
I'll take it considering I ran injured and stopped regularly after mile 18 to stretch out my right quad since it was killing me. Just know I can do much better.0 -
Runway 5K in Charlotte: 17:49, which is a PR by 14 seconds!
Very happy with this time, race went almost exactly as planned. 8th overall, first in age group.
Splits: 5:40, 5:41, 5:44, 5:03 (pace for final .14 miles)
GPS had the course at 3.14 miles, well within the margin of error. Officially a 5:45 pace overall.0 -
Peoria Az Halloween Half marathon. 1:45 even. 2nd in my age group.0

26:50 in the goblin gallop 5k today, good enough for 2nd place in my age group!! It was my first award!0

You guys rock! 25:53 for my 5K today...a huge PR for me.0
-
First half marathon 2:39:34. About the time I was hoping for and better than the time I was expecting from my 12 mile run.0

Congrats on the PRs and awards!
I ran my first 10 miler this morning, which included 3 miles of trails and lots of small hills. I had a goal of 1:30, which I was "supposed" to be able to hit based on my shorter race times, but which seemed a little out of reach based on my long runs. I smashed it! Okay, well, I hit it exactly. I took the advice of some folks on this board and started out a lot slower than my goal pace, around 9:40, then ran cut downs almost every mile, until I was finishing around 8:40. Garnered me a spot in the top third of my age group and division. Better yet, my pace was faster on this ten MILES than my pace for my 10k last year.0 -
26:52 on my 5k today. PR by 1:15 in April 2013. Didn't even go into the race planning for a PR since it's a hilly course. It just happened!0
-
21st overall, third female at my 5K (22:58). Over a minute slower than my PR, but it was only my second run post marathon two weeks ago.0

10k race walking. 52:24. Super happy with that0
