We all have our weight struggles I'm 5'10 130 pounds and trying to get to 150 through muscle building and healthy diet.1

I'm 5'11, and I weigh 209. I was weight lifting a lot last year, so I know that's a big part of my weight. My original goal was to try and be big and burly, but I decided that it makes no sense to be that strong in day to day life. My goal is to get back to around 160-170, which I was when I was about 19. I may have to go off body fat instead though, because I have far more muscle mass than I did at that time.0

Hey guys. I'm Chris. I'm 27 years old and I weigh 217 lbs at 6'. Down from 350. Been stable for the past few months, but I my ideal would be 180 or so.1

I'm Christine. At my highest weight in December I weighed 275. I am down to 220, and my goal is to get to 165, which puts me at the half-way point.1

Hello group. My weight right now is 210 and I am about 5''6 and a HALF. Yes, that half counts lol. My first goal is to get into ONE-derland! Just being under 200 is my main focus. I've been working out at home. I just started Insanity Max 30 yesterday. I dont doubt the workout more than my ability to actually stick to a healthy diet.1

Hi everyone! This is Joe. I'm 5'9 and weigh 230. Short term goal is to feel better. Long term goal isto be under 200 lbs. and maintain a healthy weight as I age. I feel that I'm addicted to food (have many symptoms of an addiction) and am working to tackle the issue as one as I diet and exercise. Looking forward to growing (and shrinking ) with you all!1

Hi! I'm Sue. 35. 149lbs. Totally inconsistent and needing to get back into regular exercise. A little hard to do with foot surgery on the horizon. I appreciate any suggestions for overcoming that and getting in shape at the same time.1

Hey Everyone. My names David and I'm 5'11 and 205 pounds with a goal weight of 170. Growing up I was nearly 250 and knocked it down to 175 but have let myself go once again. It's been a promise to my self I won't fall back to my biggest so I'm deciding to make the change back to healthy living. Let's knock this weight off like Chuck and Josh do with topics on the show!0

Hi my name is Nancy. I'm 5'9" and weigh 270. I want to ultimately lose 100 lbs. After years on the couch I started working out again about 6 weeks ago. I feel good about taking that step but I haven't lost a single pound. I need to get the food piece under control. It's daunting.1

Hi everyone, I'm Gaby! I am 5"0 and 145 lbs. My goal weight is 115. After adopting a vegan lifestyle and really pushing myself to excersice regularly, I was the healthiest I have ever been, but after a trip to Mexico in December, I've fallen off the bandwagon and started making unhealthy decisions. This is the heaviest I've ever been and I'm hoping with the motivation from this group and the help of this app I can get back to where I was! Good luck!0

I'm Sylla. I've never joined a group like this before, but what can I lose ( besides some LBs!). I lost about 20lbs in the last year. I currently weigh about 172 and would like to get to 150. But more importantly, I'd like to just get over myself and be happy with who I am.1

I'm 5'3" and weigh 136 pounds. 2 and a half years ago I weighed 120, before I went on a medication that changed my metabolism. I went up to 150 in less than a year. I've been off the medication for a little over a year now and am disappointed the weight hasn't come back off. I'm also turning 30 this year and am afraid my body might be changing how I process calories all on its own, excluding medications.
I want to get back down to 120, though I haven't felt at home in my own skin since I weighed 115.0 -
Chris here. Long time listener, love the show. Glad you're doing this, too, it's nice to have support. I'm 6'5" at 270 lbs which is out of control. I wanna drop down to at least 220 so it's going to take some dedication. Hopefully this helps me out to my goal.0

Hello! My name is Vanessa. I am currently at 166lbs. I've been yo-yoing the past couple of months at my heaviest I was at 174lb. I'm 5"8" my goal is to get back to where I was two years ago... 145lbs. Curvy, lean and toned! I'm very excited to be on this journey with all of you!1

Hello there, I'm Rosy. I'm 5'6 1/2" and currently 168lb. Before babies I was 133lb and would love to get back there, although I'm not sure how realistic that is. More than anything I'd like to establish sustainable diet and exercise habits and break the feast/famine cycle.0

Hey folks. Name is Chris Lai and I was 235lbs about 5 years ago. I am 5'8" and have since lost a total of 70lbs. Been on the heavy side for most of my life. Long story short, mid life crisis kicked in and didn't like what I saw in the mirror. Really had no idea how I was going to lose weight so I thought, bodybuilders look good. Wonder what they did to look like that? Started calorie counting, measuring my macro nutrition, pumped iron and did light cardio. Falling off the wagon is a given, but getting back on ASAP is the key. I feel I have a way to go yet, and hope we can all move forward together in our own goals. SYSK rules!0

I'm 31, 5'6" and 225lbs. I don't have a pound goal, i have a body fat percentage goal. I'm aiming for 25% body fat. I did just gain 10 lbs, but it was all pure muscle. *flex* My lean body mass is 145 lbs, so i am now carrying 80 pounds of fat. My goal is to lose some of the fat while building muscle.1

My name is Chris. Coming up on 67 years old and had gotten up to 219 pounds. Blood pressure up, big belly, yuck. Have gotten down to 183 and struggle to break the 180 mark. 5'11" so I think 175-180 would be a good range to be in1

Hi! My name is Gianna, 27 years old, 5 feet tall. I weigh about 150 lbs, I would love to get to 120 but 130 is great for me if I have muscle too. I have always been a little chunky, and I'm also a curvy person, but I feel heavy right now. I've been having trouble losing weight because I was in a car accident a year ago and still have hip pain. I love zumba, and actually got certified to teach, but it aggravates the injury too much. I wish I could exercise more because losing weight by diet restriction is such a bummer (basically means, no beer!)0

Hey everyone! My name is Rikki and I currently weigh 138 lbs at 5'6". I was diagnosed with type two diabetes at 26 (I was over 215 lbs at the time) and have spent many years learning how to eat healthy and move my body. I would like to weigh less, but I really just want to be accountable for what I eat on here. It's important for my future health that I keep my blood sugars food.
If there are any other diabetics oh here that want a buddy feel free to add me on here!0 -
Hello everyone,
My name is John and first I want to thank you for this group. I am a big fan of the podcast and this lets me be a part of it.
I am 6'2" and as of this morning 257 lbs. I would like to get down to 220. I have been on MyFitnessPal for a long time but seem to find ways and excuses not to lose weight. I have kids so I can't work out, I work on the road so I can't make good choices, my back is injured and it frustrates me by limiting my fitness.
I am tired of coming up with excuses and just want to be healthy and fit enough to play with my kids and golf. Pretty simple.
Thanks again for reading my story and good luck to everyone reaching their goals.1 -
Hey everyone. I am 6'3" and am currently weighting in at 196, my goal is to get down to 170. I also am hoping to be able to run a marathon by next summer. I have enjoyed chronic insomnia, and have an injury sustained in the Navy, both of which are greatly ameliorated by not packing on a bunch of weight and exercising regularly. Good luck to everyone else here!0

My name's Scott and I currently weigh 252 lbs. I'd like to weigh 210 short term and then work down from there. At my most "svelte" I was always around the 180- 200 mark. Here's hoping this helps0

Hi SYSK fans! My name is Tracy. I'm hitting a milestone birthday this year (the big 4.0) and am stuck on the same hamster wheel I've been on since I was a pre-teen. I'm 5"2 and 188. I've gained and lost the same 18lbs over the past 6 years since my last child. On the high end again now. Need to lose 40+. I'm someone that nails just about every other goal I've set for myself but this... still don't understand why I can't get my *kitten* together. So, off I go again just as determined as I was the last 100 times. . Looking forward to being part of this group of very curious and smart people.0

Late to the game here. I'm Chris and I'm 5'11 and 302. I was 318 about a month ago. I would like to be about 200. That is what I was when I was playing baseball every day at a high level.0

Hi Everyone my name is Summer,
I was always overweight/obese from age 8-25. I was super happy and never really tried to hard to change myself.
When I was 25 years old (215lbs-size16/18-5'5). I saw someone close to me getting fit and she inspired me. I knew I would feel better about my future health if could get my weight in a healthy range. Over the next 9 months of point-counting and packing my own lunches for work, I went from 215 lbs to 150 lbs!!!
Suddenly I found out that I actually could run after all! I fell in love with dance fitness and kickboxing and eventually running grew on me as well. By age 29 I ran my first half-marathon and hit a low 130lbs after the race.
BUT life is ever-changing, and I soon felt the grief and pain of two family tragedies. These contributed to my first life-altering encounters with depression and anxiety attacks. I was in a place of fear and I let it take me away from running, kickboxing, Zumba, yoga, crosstraining, and a very long myfitnesspal streak.
Now I am teaching Zumba, confronting my stage fright a little more each time that I get up there and do my thang. I'm a pretty happy 155ish pounds now really.
I need a little help from a community remembering to destress, stay active, and savor every bite!
Remember- life is unpredictable, and we are all perfectly imperfect. What you weigh will always be secondary to what you feel.
One thing I recommend after a good workout: When you are super tired, sweaty, and about to shower it all off, stop. Smile big at yourself in the mirror, and tell yourself "you are doing soo soo good. Just keep doing what you're doing."5 -
I'm Joye. I'm 5'5 and weigh around 255. I'd be happy to lose 100lbs. Heck, I'd be happy to lose 60lbs. This was a great idea Chuck.1

Hey all. I am Dave. I am about 5'11" and clocking in at 208 right now. Goal is to get down to 180. Been coaching my son's soccer team helped me shed some pounds by running with them. I saw this group shared on Facebook and thought it was the right time to take this serious. Can't wait to share progress with everyone.
