    Hi
I found a Quarter laying in the road in the first block of my walk, and one corroded Penny on the inbound leg as I neared the Grocery Store total found 26 cents and 7K steps. I picked up four Cameo Apples for $.99 a pound and other Miscellaneous fruits and a head of Lettuce.

Today the weather was great to walk in, it was 13 degrees cooler then yesterday for 6AM due to a cold front that moved through the area.

    Have a Nice Wednesday

    Hi
I have backed down the amount of steps today 6600 steps, as I was feeling some pain, Later I will be going to the Acme for some sale items and will be adding to the step count that way.
It was warmer today when I left for my walk and even warmer on the return leg as I got out the door late. I am waiting to see if the forecast of possible severe weather comes true.

    Hi
I went walking early for a partial walk, came home for an hour+ then walked to the doctors office for my Physical 9700 steps + one thin dime I found on my block at the start of the walk.
It was a little warmer today when I left for my walk and even warmer on the return leg ans still warmer for the second walk.

I did not get to the Acme yesterday, when I looked at the flyer I realized I had it wrong, the sale starts Today :) Yesterdays Rain even was a light drizzle that did not wet the street under the trees in the morning and a slight bit more in the afternoon. So I ended up watering today.

    Have a Nice Friday

    Hi
I walked a while today 6700 steps + 1 Cent :) I stopped at the Grocery store and bought 4 Bananas and three Tangerines as the Bananas were just starting to show a little color. They should be fine by Tomorrow or Monday. The Weather was at 65 degrees this morning when I started out and warmed up fairly quickly with the Suns heat from a cloudless sky. The next two days should be great for people that have the weekend off.

11 days til my next NS order closes, I'll have to finalize it before then, I have been putting that off until I get closer to the closing date for it. Still need to finish applying NS Gift cards to it so it is completely paid for.

    Have a Great Weekend

    Hi
I was out walking today 5600 steps as I was having some bad pains on outbound leg so I shortened the inbound leg + 2 Cents. One in the same block I live on and one after picking up my Coffee. One the way in 2 blocks from home a Deer ran across the street.

When I went to the NS site to apply a Gift card I saw that Dinner was short two pieces, Looking I see that They seem to have reformulated one of the frozen Pizzas.

    Hi
I only did 4100 steps today + 2 cents due to Pain and allergies. The weather itself was nice and cool on the outbound and it was already warming up heading back. Tomorrows weather report forecast is for rain showers.

Tomorrow might be a run around day, I have several stops to do, Renew the Car registration, X-Rays and Acme to look at the nutrition on some frozen items on sale.

    Hi
We had enough rain last night that we will not need to water for a couple of days :) OTOH the humidity was 96% nearby us this morning and many parts of the state started out with visibility under 1 mile. Therefore despite the temperature being in the 60s I worked up a sweat walking 5K steps and some pain and a runny nose from some sort of allergy.

On a different note I was watching a episode of Chopped recently where they mention Ezekiel Bread. From Google: Ezekiel 4:9 products are crafted in the likeness of the Holy Scripture verse Ezekiel 4:9 to ensure unrivaled honest nutrition and pure delicious flavors.

    Hi
5200 steps today including a few steps in the Grocery Store. I picked up Three Tangerines, 4 Cameo Apples, 3 Bananas and two Navel Oranges. The weather today is somewhat better than yesterday, somewhat cooler and a little lower humidity thus it was somewhat more comfortable while walking.

Somewhat of a NSV last night, I pulled the suit I bought in 1995 out of the closet to try on and I did not remember being that heavy back then. I must have been however as it was way to big so now I have no suit to wear when needed :( Now I need to do something(s) I hate doing. Spend money and shop for anything :)

    Hi
I did some walking 5200 steps. As I approached the Quick Chek my Phone rang, It was my brother asking did You forget You need to drop the car off today? Oops, I sure did, This is the second back window where the Mechanism has failed. I suspect it is due to the fact that they only get used if I hit the button by mistake :) It went down a little way and would not go up or down, The motor was running. This is the same thing that happened to the other rear window.

Two of the Raspberries fruits are starting to show color, Four had fruit altogether out of 10, I suspect that is not too bad for the first year in the ground and they are mostly growing great too.
    0DEa3I.jpg
You can see the amount of color so far in this shot.

    a3gnDQ.jpg
That is a Yard Stick between the Raspberry an the Blackberry plant on the right.

Two of the three Apple trees had flowers and I see no fruit set however.

Some of the oddities I have been picking up while walking :) Two of what look like Chuckie Cheese Tokens? and something with a hole in it.

    Hi
I did some walking today 6000 steps + 1 cent from yesterday. The something with a hole in it that I posted a image of Yesterday turned out to be a penny. I used a fine Emory cloth on it and was able to see Lincolns head after sanding off some of the corrosion.

Todays weather was decent around 76% humidity and 68 degrees when I left the house. Yesterday we heard thunder several times throughout the day but no significant rain until around 9PM. No watering needed today. My Brother brought home some nice looking Portulaca's AKA Moss Rose. They were in a 6 pack that cost a whole Dollar :) I pulled out the last left over hanging basket and put four of them into it and two near the ones in the ground. That makes four hanging baskets for three spots. One will sit on the front Stoop. Now one Geraniums, One Petunias and one Begonias and now one Portulaca.

Today's plan is a picnic on the lawn from here:
My Thoughts on this as of now are eat my Hot On NS Plan dinner at home ahead and take a Cold Protein Shake, 100 calories, a Nice Apple or Tangerine and for later in the evening a nice tasty NS Dessert, possibly the Dark Chocolate and Sea Salt Nut Bar 200 calories or the Vanilla Shortbread Cookies 160 calories. Since I do not want to eat my brothers low calorie items he plans on taking, IE Potato Salad with real Mayo & Egg and Macaroni Salad using home made Pesto that has fresh Basil from the garden and Chicken Leg Quarters. My Other Option would be to hit the Burger King for 2 Whoppers using the Coupon for Buy One Get One Free. 630 calories each or 470 each without Mayo. If I did that I would go the No Mayo route and combine the meat and throw out one Bun and eat the Lettuce and Tomato as a salad. Going that route could make it usable as a lot of the calories must be coming from the Large Bun :)

Let's not forget to mention the Rear Passenger Window Repair on the Buick $207 :(

Have a Great Start of the 4th of July Holiday Weekend.

    07/02/2016 I'm calling it not see below100%

    Hi
My Brother & I went to the Picnic on the lawn yesterday and finally saw the Fireworks, I say finally as the Ball game went into extra innings and they paused the game after 11PM and did the Fireworks, then it looked like they were getting going again, we left and were on the way home at 11:30. During the Interval I wandered into the Target an ended up buying a Jance paperback called "Dance of the Bones" one of the books featuring J. P. Beaumont at 15% off and on the way out I saw a Starbucks so I had a hot Coffee. Thus the 6Pm to 10Pm ran 6Pm to 11:30Pm :) They were nice enough to keep the Historic Van Horne House open as well *kitten* handing out goodie bags from the Unity Bank. The Weather was surprisingly cool to where everybody was feeling a chill by the time the Fireworks went off. If I has realized it would be that chilly on July 2nd I would have dressed warmer.

I ended up over 11K steps yesterday and was somewhat sore today after getting a late start walking I did 3500 steps and One Cent. The weather seemed OK heading out however I did start to feel warm on the return leg.

What I did for food yesterday was eat my Dinner at Lunch time and my lunch at the Picnic. I ended up with was a NS Grilled Chicken sandwich with a smear of Lite Mayo on the the buns which I toasted lightly before reassembling the sandwich and 1 1/2 slices of shopRite Precooked Bacon, A Tangerine, A Chocolate ready to drink Protein Shake by Muscle Milk 100 calories from CostCo, Fresh cauliflower courtesy of my brother likewise the Carrot sticks and Celery bites. Dessert was the NS Vanilla Shortbread Cookies. They came around with a tray of Brownies and Ginger Cookies while we were there, I ended up with one of each :( FWIW I also had a Bottle of Frozen water to keep the foods cold and a chilled one to drink.

    Have a Great Sunday

I got out and did 4500 steps and a stop at the Grocery Store for 3 Bananas 49 cents a pound, 3 Navel oranges 5 for $1.99, 2 large tangerines 40 cents each and 3 Cameo Apples selling for 99cents a pound. Temperature out the Door was in the lower 60s, a Possibility of Rain Tonight.

Two of the Bananas went into the refrigerator for Wednesday & Thursday and the third one is on the Counter for Tomorrow Morning.

Breakfast today was a Banana before walking, Post Raisin Bran 11o calories with 4 ounces of 1% milk 50 calories and Sweetener and a Premier Protein Vanilla Shake, 30g Protein and 160 calories :) I also pulled the 97% Fat Free Hebrew National Hot Dogs for Later on with a 60 calorie Honey Wheat or Whole Wheat wrap, Cleaned the Grill and generally made ready for later on.

I did get out walking today 5300 steps + 30 cents, one really hard to spot Quarter and one Shiny Nickel elsewhere. It was already 77 degrees when I got out the door at 6:30 and it never did really cool off overnight. Possible Thunderstorms later today due to the High Humidity as well as the Temperatures.

I also picked up two Cameo Apples at 99 cents a pound, 2 Navel Oranges at 4 for $1 and four Bananas at 49 cents a pound & a Special K Cereal to try once one of the nearly empty ones is emptied :)
Darn Cereal has become expensive anymore too.

    Hi
I had a late start today & 6300 steps + 0 Cents. The weather this morning is warm again, 77 degrees. It was still over 80 degrees at 1:30AM. Very slow cooling off, A slight breeze was blowing, however the sun felt hot on me when I had to walk in it and not the shade.

I did get a few really fresh Raspberries Wednesday & Thursday off of the Plants we planted this spring. There are some more that have not ripened yet.

We expect to be rich tomorrow after tonight's Mega Millions drawing. No money found today so I am due for tonight. I know that since I told the clerk I only wanted winners :)

Good news, I think, I would have been fine or maybe happier if it came next week, OTOH this means I can try the Stuffed Chocolate Pie for my Dessert tonight. The tracking for my order shows

    Hi
I was out the door around 6:35AM and 4900 steps. It was much cooler than yesterday which is the good part, The not so good part is that there was a mist to drizzle in the air. having looked at the Morning weather report at 6:20 I knew that could/would happen so I took a folding umbrella along in my Pocket just in case. I did not need it however.

Mini Review on the Stuffed Chocolate Pie
I had one last night for dessert around 9PM. It was OK, as I suspected once I saw it the pie has the same crust as the Stuffed Apple Pie. That should have occurred to me from both names starting withe "Stuffed". I managed to over heat it as I forgot to set the Microwave to 50% power when heating :(
Bottom Line: if You like the crust on the Apple Pie You should like it and if You dislike that crust be forewarned :) When I overheated it the Pie broke open and a lot of the filling leaked out onto the paper plate so I ended up eating that more as a pudding than a filling. That made the rest of the pie bready tasting. Better luck next time. I will not forget to set the M/W to 50% power again. I did have trouble dialing in the heating on the Stuffed Apple Pies in the past too.

According to tracking my Ready to Go, what I think of as Shelf Stable, should be delivered today, Tracking shows.
Scheduled delivery: Sat 7/09/2016 by end of day, OTOH it also shows
7/08/2016 - Friday 8:57 pm Departed FedEx location HAGERSTOWN, MD
7/09/2016 - Saturday 5:58 am At local FedEx facility CARTERET, NJ

Therefore I am not sure if it will come, However no problem either way.

Being that I like to take the easy road I have modified my heating of the NS frozen dinners too. For example where the Chicken Parmesan Dinner says heat for 3 minutes, remove cover, stir and heat for another 1 to 1.5 minutes I have found out that I am fine with just heating it covered all in one go. The same with other Entrees FWIW.

    Enjoy the Weekend

We also had some light rain overnight, No watering needed today. OTOH That green strandy weed, AKA Grass or Lawn, around the house has turned green and is growing once again.

Tomorrow I may have to hit the Grocery Store, it depends on how the Bananas look when my Brother does his shopping today. If they are greenish then I'll let him pick them up as I have one more in the refrigerator for Tomorrow so I do not want ripe ones today.

    Hi
I managed to walk 6100 steps and 11 cents. It is 2 degrees amd 68 degrees warmer than yesterday and slightly more humid, However it was still OK at 6:20 when I got out the door. The rest of the week is trending warmer into the 70s for a overnight low and Humid according to the weather forecasts :(
I predict a case of terminal sweat for the warmest most humid day :)

I did have to detour off the sidewalks into the road a couple of times due to lawn sprinklers, Why they are watering the Sidewalk is unknown, it won't grow or heal its cracks.

I had part of the Banana before my walk and the rest with a NS Chocolate Protein shake on my return and I am still trying to decide between the NS Waffles and the NS French Toast for the remainder of my Breakfast, Decisions, Decisions! Hopefully I will not repeat yesterday and forget to have the rest of my Breakfast. I also forgot my Vitamins yesterday so I sat down and had them with my Shake this morning.

    Hi
Warm enough to be uncomfortable walking today, 6800 steps due to humidity. It was 74.5 at Midnight and 75.4 at 5:30 this morning, High Humidity too, Not all that comfortable despite getting out the door early. It appears that there was a little rain overnight too from what I could see.

On my ToDo list for today, clean the Living Room AC Filter, the Clean Filter light turned on at some point yesterday. I am not that worried as it appears to be a running time indicator rather than detecting a dirty filter :) The other thing on my list beyond being here posting is try and decide if I need to put the Window unit in a window in this small bedroom where I have this computer.

Also I see that Yesterday was patch Tuesday for Windows users. Here is a link that explains what they are and why. I will be installing them on this computer as much of the time I Hibernate it when I finish so I can resume where I left off. If They are not manually installed they usually install at shut down and I have not shut down this one this week only Hibernated it.

Slice of Carrot Cake and it wasn't nearly as tasty as I remembered it.

    Hi
I was out walking, 6500 steps. Inside the Living room and outside were both the same temperature when I got going this morning, 79 Degrees and a Humidity reading in the Upper 80s. I turned on the Living Room AC before I left to cool down the house. Today it is supposed to be in the 90s, tomorrow which will be shopping day for Bananas and other fruit while walking should be a little cooler and lower humidity. That is a good thing as I will be wearing the backpack and carrying several pounds of fruit in it. The Bananas from my last trip are coming out of the refrigerator the night before and are good. I know if I had left them on the counter in the fruit dish they would be well over ripe by today, forget how the last one would be tomorrow morning.

I had a large Red Delicious Apple in place of my NS dessert

    Hi
It was a little better out when I left to as I was up early for my walk + 4800 steps.
The temperature dropped all the way to 75 degrees by 5AM :( Which is why When I woke up and looked at the Time and Temperature on the alarm clock I decided to go out earlier than yesterday.

So far today is shaping up to be a lazy Sunday too. I Had 2/3s of my Banana on the way out the door, the other third is sitting in the measuring glass, a small Pyrex measuring glass that goes up to 5 ounces of liquid. I finished my first pass through the Hot Breakfasts from the recent NS Delivery yesterday so today I open the quart of milk I put in the refrigerator to chill and have 4 ounces on cereal with sweetener and the balance of the Banana sliced into it and I had the Protein shake that is the final component of my breakfast when I returned Home. The cereal will most likely be at 9AM and a Noon snack followed at 2:30 by a Lean Pocket Hot Melt of some kind. I am working them in as a part of my lunch plan. NS Snack at 5PM and Dinner at 7:30 and a Dessert around 9PM. That's the plan anyway :)

I do not bother with an alarm clock these days :) The temperature out the door was OK at 74 degrees, according the weather forecast the humidity is high in this area and I can believe it. When I was in the Sunlight I could feel the heat from the sun. Later this week I do need to run to CostCo for several things. On my shopping list is Kleenex, TP, 3 or four bags of frozen veges as I have 2.5 days of veges left in the freezer, Maybe fruit depending on how it looks and price, a 18 pack Light & Fit Greek Yogurt etc.

Apples were $0.79 a pound, The Bananas $0.49 a pound and the Orange was $0.40 then that was reduced by the 10% Wednesday Senior Discount :)

Today is the pick of the litter for upcoming days. It was in the 60s this morning when I headed out the door, The rest of the long range forecast has overnight lows in the 70s and Saturday they are forecasting 95 to 97 for a high depending on which forecast You believe :)

CostCo might or might not be cheaper for Bananas however their size pack of them would be too big at this time of year and they would go over ripe even refrigerated. The Apples were $1.70 after the discount for four of them. I do not think CostCo's price would be better.

    Have a Great Wednesday
    Roger
