    Hi everyone, My weekly check-in. I am going in reverse.. my fault, lack of will power.

    SW (Oct, 1st): 125.2 lbs
    Oct 08, 2016: 125.4 lbs
    Oct 15, 2016: 126.6 lbs

    GW (Oct, 31st): 120.0 lbs Height: 5'4"

    We learn something even on the bad days / weeks. All of it moves us forward even if we can't see it yet. We "will" get there!

    Hi everyone,

    I've been working at slimming down and gaining some muscle since the beginning of October. The first few weeks, I gained some weight. Those also happened to be the weeks that I wasn't logging my food very seriously... For the last two weeks, I've been logging each day ahead of time and that has made a big difference.

    SW: 126
    CW: 124.6

    Goal by October 31st: 122 (I'd be happy with 122.something!)

    My ultimate goal weight is to be under 120

    Feel free to add me as a friend - I need some motivation! I am 5'4'' and eat about 1500 calories a day (and 1700-1800 on the weekends)

    10/7: 131.6 - not sure what's happening here, but I'm fairly sure it's just water weight..
    10/14: 127.7 - Idk where this gigantic whoosh came from, but I'll take it.
    10/21: 129.1 - total water weight. I started a new exercise routine, plus I'm expecting my period in the next 12-24 hours.

    I'm still in the beginning stages of my recomp process and trying to find the right maintenance calories.

    @Silveya thanks for the support! :) 141 is my goal weight for the 28th. my UGW is closer to 130-135. :smile:

    Count me in, my case is simple (or not). I'm skinny fat with a jelly belly....my aim is to be spanx free by December. I'm targeting my stubborn fat by eating clean/real/whole foods, intermittent fasting and working out for an hour four times a week. My motivation= a gentleman I knew when I was a teenager. We've been app chatting/ flirting and he'll be around my way in December...I'm open to new friends. Let's do this.

    I've been so busy lately, but I still have been sticking to my goal to workout 4x a week and eating healthy. I stop tracking my food a while ago, so Im not sure If I'm consuming enough calories for a day (above 1650cal) :neutral:

    I do count calories, but I do not count the calories while I am eating. I total everything I ate that day, if I went over a little I do not worry about it. If you feel you are fine without counting calories and can maintain a healthy diet, than don't waste your time. :)

    @kellyshell215 i log my food every day. i pre-log my day the night before, sometimes i pre-log the entire week. i adjust my diary that day if plans change.

    I wasn't tracking very honestly for a while, then I started tracking honestly only on weekdays, and now I'm tracking everything fairly accurately, even on weekends (and even if I know I went way over). It wasn't until I started getting serious about tracking that I started to actually lose some weight!

    I am with avotarian - I pre-log everything, usually the day before (a lot of my meals on weekdays are repeats, so it's pretty quick). This seems to help keep me accountable and prevents mindless snacking, since I know it's not a part of my "menu" that day!

    October Goal: 145 - although I'll be away the last few days of October so no way to know for sure!

    Personally I track my calories everyday. I attempt to get a head start and plan my next day out so I don't make too many impulse decisions. I adjust during the day if things change or if I feel I can add things in. I don't cheat with logging, that would keep me from seeing what works best (or worst) for me. Also honest logging gives you one more reason not to add on that extra treat! Although, sometimes the treat seems worth it and I do anyway. :)

    After months of staying at 119 lbs it finally appears my body is ready to lose the extra weight. I was soo happy when I saw the scale this morning. I don't if I should believe it or not. I even had fast food this week, so I know the scale can't be lying.

    I hit my October goal! We'll see what November has in store. :D;)
