3.5 mile walk outside, it's a bit hotter than it's been the past few days. I skipped adding miles yesterday because my legs are still really sore from my race on Sunday. Tomorrow I'm doing a metabolic efficiency test, which involves running on the treadmill while all sorts of hopefully useful info spits out of the computer. It involves no food/drink for 10-12 hours :disappointed: but I decided if I survive the test, I'm following it with a visit to the NC State Fair and eating all the disgusting, yet yummy, fried foods. Except the deep fried butter.

@sufferlandrian - more Awesome images! You have access to an amazing landscape and the Autumn colours are just beginning to creep in. <3
@vhuber - take care. Sadly it's probably the perfect weather for picking up infections too!
@kar328 - it might just be me ...... but deep fried butter has a yucky sound to it. Hahahahahaha

Been to see my Physiotherapist today and she's really pleased with how my leg has coped with starting to run (again). I'm taking it slowly, but have managed to squeeze 2 weeks of C210k into 10 days!!

    Edited for clarity!!

I'm constantly amazed at what they dream up to deep fry, like the butter, or jell-o. I've stuck with candy bars, Girl Scout cookies, pickles, nothing too over the top. There's also a place that does bacon in various dishes, someone posted a pic on Facebook of her grilled cheese sandwich covered in bacon. I want to check out the bacon s'mores. There is incredible corn on the cob there - not fried - as well as freshly made ice cream by one of the state colleges. I'm definitely planning on a scoop of the ice cream.

    Now I"m hungry.

Yikes! I hope you get over it quickly. We have some nasty stuff going through Kalispell that takes a couple weeks to get over.

I guess I will never grow up. When on the turbo, I watch NetFlix movies. So far Air Buddies, Snow Buddies, Space Buddies, Spooky Buddies and Treasure Buddies. After Super Buddies I guess I will have to find grown up stuff to watch. That kills about 90 mins on the hamster wheel.

    10/15 - 19.0 miles hamster wheel
    10/16 - 19.0 miles hamster wheel
    10/17 - 01.0 miles walking
    10/18 - 18.0 miles hamster wheel
10/19 - 18.0 miles hamster wheel (stuck on 18/19 miles. That is how long the movies last)

    Total: 243.0 miles

Kept things a little quiet here past couple of days. I have a sore foot - feels like a "stone bruise" on the pad at the base of my big toe. Thought I should give it time to get better!!!
