Thank you everyone for encouraging me, Had a really good day today longest walk for 3 months. Adding 4 miles ttd 11 miles. Brilliant walk to seafront to doctors and back, unseasonably warm but he said just keep it steady and I will improve in time0

Three straight days of running. Whipping my quads back in shape. Heel still smarts but I will work on the mind over discomfort. Naproxsyn is not my friend. Going back to what works. Looks like running in the dark as I now have afterschool coaching for five weeks.
Oct.3: 10.5 miles of running 2.77 miles and all the rest walking and jogging.

I'm jumping back in again this month. I've been out for a while, recuperating from a pretty bad collision. Every time I try getting some miles in again, my body complains violently. So this time around, I've been fitted with special shoes and inserts,compression pants and socks, and I'm going to try slow and steady, and build up from there. 50 miles on my spinning bike, please1

@SPIKESMOM - Welcome back!! So glad to se you back in action!!! Just try to take it slow and steady.
And for me, I'm back from a little adventure myself. Got LOTS of walking and hiking in during breaks to rest the rearend on a 2 day motorcycle trip to see some fall colors up in the northern part of my home state of Minnesota. We were a little early for peak color yet, but we did hit a few pockets of glorious, breathtaking scenery. It was a nice getaway for the girlfriend and I too. Many fun, new memories made. Will try to post some pictures later.
