Our weather finally broke...no more three digit days. Think it was high 80s today. Life is good in the Valley of the Sun...at least through next May!0 -

Ok...today...45 minutes in the pool. Went to the clubhouse pool that is closest to me (two minutes by car ...maybe will walk it sometime...but this time, drove) ...oh my gosh...so pretty...so so pretty and BIG. My first time in that pool...and that will be my go to pool from now on. Just me and another lady. Too funny.
b joes mean green, ak maks and laughing cow 2
s none
l TJs baby spinach and herb salad, beans, avocado, freshly shredded parm/reg, pico, spritz of evoo
Had the salad after my swim and a shower. It felt so good putting all that green goodness into my body...I wish I had the week off to do this everyday. Poop!
d at my sister's
NO PC tonight...just yogurt.
Have a great day. Later, mates.

UP and at em Monday!
So...four days swimming...juicing but still eating...and had ONLY one 40 gram serving (unpopped kernels) of popcorn. ONE serving of dessert yogurt. IMPROVEMENTS...small changes BIG results!
Today's Plan:
carrot/orange juice
ak maks and laughing cow
60 calorie Dave's Killer Bread cheese sam
yogurt
carrot/orange juice
salmon/broccoli/cauliflower veggies dusting with parm/regg
popcorn, tea
I might make SB cauliflower soup tonight ... will see how my energy level is. Caramelized onions ... steamed cauliflower...chicken stock...throw in vita mix, whirl...delish.
Was going to make it last night, but got a call from Ernestine's vet...she had appointment on Saturday... urinalysis came back UTI...picked up meds...started her on them...and did not go to sister's for dinner. HATE cancelling at such late notice...but I had to make sure LME was ok with the meds. And she is.
Ok, then...off to shower, get dress...lunch is made for work.
HAD THE WORSE DAY EVER WITH SALESMEN ON FRIDAY. PRIMA DONAS! Hate any drama with them...first time it happened in two years...really had to do my best to hold it together...my supervisor stood by me...phew.
OK then...now off to get ready for work.
Good luck preparing for your promotion, Sabine.
VK hope your husband is doing better and you are sticking with your New Way Of Eating.
Silver...have a wonderful Fall Monday...you little, little retiree, you.
Later, mates.0 -

My redux go to lunch: 1/2 cup of black soybeans, 1/2 cup frozen shredded chicken, blue cheese, chipotle tabasco. Nuked. This is what lunch looks like when I'm super busy.

The juice really seems to be helping the arthritis in my knees. Waking up with fresh bounce in my step. And best of all: presently, no pain waking me up from sleep. I think the juicing sucks out bad stuff. At least I like to believe that.
Alrighty then...time to get a move on. HAGDE! (have a great day everyone)

Not so great...but thanks for asking. Her numbers seem to be going in the wrong direction...but I can get her to eat if I hit on the right food at the right time. She refuses to eat anymore kidney care in cans from I think it is Hills Science Diet and Royal Canine. No way.
But she has had, wild caught salmon, steamed cauliflower, broccoli, sweet potato, russet potato and scrambled eggs. But one minute she likes it and the next, no.
All suggestions welcome. She has kidney disease.0 -
Up in the middle of the night...went to sleep before 7...but was up at 2:30 yesterday. I am a total mess.
Going to try and make my morning Sunrise right now. Get that outta the way.
My girlfriend suggested turmeric for my arthritic knees...combat inflammation ...so I just put an order in ... on Amazon, organic...lots of good reviews. Not sure how to use it. Suggestions anyone?
Bought a clam shell of organic ginger...it goes in all my green jucies. But I saw a recipe for ginger, turmeric, honey, lemon...hmmm, I think that was all. Drink that does wonders for inflammation. Considering I have no cartilage, my knees hold up pretty good til late afternoon. Hoping this stuff helps.

Today's Plan
Sunrise juice
almonds
Killer Don Lee
Joe's Mean Green
salmon and salad
tea.
Here's the review...recipe
I take turmeric on a daily basis. I combine it with lemon juice, ginger and pure organic honey and the result is phenomenal. I hike everyday and this is just what I need to relieve any type of inflammation.
