Lots of updates. I read through everything so nice job to all for progressing. Hang in there to those with challenges. The weekend was challenging for me as I over ate quit a bit even while staying in ketosis. It started out as nearing TOM issue but later just turned into unnecessary eating. Oh well, a new week. So I will try to make this one a better one.
Week: 7 Workout: #1
Squats 72 lb 4 × 6
Bench Press 53 lb 4 × 6 (dropped the weight lightly as I try to get my costochondritis to heal)

DD my weekend was similar to yours only I'm positive I wasn't in ketosis. ha
I'm proud of myself this month for doing both strong lifts and p90x (the weightlifting part anyway) however because it takes so much time to both of those things coupled with sick kids all month I haven't been reaching my goal for my daily burn. I'm still losing weight though so I can't be too discouraged but not sure I will continue the same program next month.
Down almost 15 pounds!
almost forget SL done and day 1 of week 3 for p90x. Hoping to get a run or walk in yet.
Good job everyone!3 -
Squats: 5x5 @ 130
Benchpress (making up for Sat): 1x5 @ 50, 1x5 @ 55, 1x5 @ 60
Seated OHP: 5x5 @ 50
Deadlifts: 1x5 @ 140. Can I just say how silly it looks to have 2.5 lb fractionals on next to the big 45s? Pretty silly.
I finally had a .5 lb loss this morning, after being stalled for several weeks. It's been hard to keep my eating under control so I'm not really surprised I stalled, but it's been frustrating.3 -
Rachael, HUGE congrats on 15 lbs loss. I feel on you on the sick kid thing. Boy do we women manage a lot.
Amy, great job on the .6 lbs loss. That's awesome.
Yes, the eating has been a little shaky for us sometimes but we got this. We are going to hold on to the KEY ingredient which is CONSISTENCY! As long as we don't give up and keep doing the right thing most of the time, we will continue to see progress. Great job everyone!2 -
Hey ladies,
Unfortunately my ability to check in will be limited for a while. Computer issues at home and busy season at work are a bad combination. I will definitely make sure to check in at least once a week though, and keep up on the 4 week results posts. Awesome job to everyone for staying focused!

Hi all, sorry Ive been absent. Still nursing my leg a bit and taking a break from lifting. My diet is on point and I still feel good about my progress. I'd like to get a weightlifting session in before the week is out though!
Great job everyone, and keep up the good work!0 -

Now my son is sick and daughter might be regressing. Just a sick household. I hope I am not next. My diet has gone to hell. I am not happy right now. But this is the Finish_No_Matter_What group. Therefore, I got up this morning and did both Wednesday and Friday workouts. Will get back on track with eating and just not look back but forward.

Made some really good strength gains this week! Focusing on strength building for the next two, then switching to hypertrophy-focused sets and reps. I feel like my body is responding to this program really well, so I'm excited to see what the next few weeks bring.3 -
You guys are awesome! Thank you guys so much for the well wishes. I really needed the push. It was one heck of week. Both kids are much better now but I started coughing last night. However, I am going to keep on going and hope it's just a cough.
Mary, your weight loss is awesome! Keep it great work.
Cherrybomb, love your excitement! Consistency is key so keep it up.
Debrag, I did state that members for this group was closed but it's just not in me to turn someone away if we are doing something that you feel will help you. We only have a handful of people so I am good with adding another one. Unless another member objects, I say welcome aboard. Are you ladies okay with Debrag joining us?0 -

I'm on board.
[I'm still around everyone - and thanks for letting me in a while back.]
I'm [re?] starting Strong Curves today. My husband has agreed to also do a 12 week program (of his choosing) so that we can run it together and keep each other motivated!1
